  • 3516 points :) GREAT 2048 clone, very polished. It would have been nice to have some music (maybe optional). However, the great sound effects make up for it.
  • Very polished version of the game!
  • Very polished, nice job! How am I supposed to find the time to finish rating these jam games when I'm addicted to 2048 again haha Thanks for porting this!
  • A very accurate remake, it's basically identical to the mobile version.
  • A faithful remake with lovely visuals and audio! Ability to save and continue where you left off is super handy. The ROM header is invalid so it won't run on real hardware, but it's easy enough to work around that.

Jam ROM submission

Ok - understood! I attached the GBA ROM file as "MYGAMENAME_jam.gba".

Love the minimalism of it. 100% game play, in a pleasant and relaxing way. Alongside with other classics, this game is now part of my library of regular playing games.

This is awesome to hear, thank you so much for playing.

The gameplay is effective and the clean designs and soft colors pleasant, although some light (or lively) music in the background would have been a plus ;)

Developer

Thanks! I did try out some background music, but found the audio crust made it a bit distracting. I also felt it deviated from the simplicity of the original game.

I did multiple 2048 ports for the TI-84+CSE - from one 2048 implementer to another i gotta say you nailed it. this is what i wished i could've made for those (if only the calculator graphics hardware had sprites xD)

i've played a lot of 2048 ports in my time, and this is far and away one of the most polished i've seen!

Developer

Thanks, that means a lot!

There's a lot of cases where it seems arbitrary which tiles get combined. Is there a rule for priority?

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yes there is a rule, tiles are merged backwards from direction you slide.
