  • Really nice concept of the 2D confort zone and 3D other world, but I would not have understand that without the presentation. I wish there were more music to highlight the different moods. Good base to build upon.

How does it adress the Serious Game Jam's topic?
The player character - Sarah - embodies the fear you feel as soon as you are lost and helpless. Persons with anxiety got those feeling on a regular basis. Out of a sudden they can feel completely lost, forget where they come from and how to continue. Anxiety makes you stay at your safe-places (e.g. at home) because of the fear what can happen outside. This safe-paces get more and more digitalised - like the Pixel-Character Sarah. The heart collectables make her feel better - just like people with anxiety feel better when being comforted by the people they know. Anxiety disorder is widespread and often underestimated or minimised by people from outside. The game aims to spread awareness how it feels to be in such a fear and that the concerned people need support from others to get back on track and find their way ‚home‘.
