UPDATE (Aug 11): The submissions for this games charity bundle is now close. We are in the midst of preparing for the launch of the bundle for sale on Sept 2nd 9AM PST. Please stay tuned as we will also include the link to the bundle here.

NOTE: This is not a game jam. We are only using the Jams functionality to receive game and content submissions. Please read below for more info.

The people of Palestine continue to be subjected to repeated hostilities, destruction of homes and livelihoods, critical infrastructure, and devastasting loss of lives. We, as a games community, will bring together our incredible games from across the world, for a charity bundle with proceeds that go directly to Palestine aid and relief. 

We are partnering with UNRWA USA, who will receive the funds and grant them to UNRWA (UN agency) in support of direct humanitarian aid in Palestine. Together, the game dev community and UNRWA USA will raise awareness on the situation in Gaza, spotlight our communities, and the devs participating in this charity drive.

PLEASE READ THE SUBMISSION DETAILS BELOW FOR CRITICAL INFORMATION ON THE PROCESS:

We're looking for the following for the charity bundle:

• Digital games (finished or jam-style)
• Game assets, tools, tilesets
• Soundtracks, music packs
• Zines, artbooks, short fiction, comics
• Any digital content you own the rights to

Please Note:

• You must own the rights to all submitted content
• No NFTs or AI-generated games
• Submitted content can be PWYW (pay-what-you-want), free, or paid but we aim to price the bundle at $8 USD or more
• You retain full ownership of your work—feel free to sell it elsewhere too
  
• You're okay for 100% of proceeds to go to UNRWA USA

What happens after you submit your game:

1. All submission entries will be curated by a group of volunteers to ensure the games are free of any harmful or illegal content, but in general, we should be allowing all content.

2. After all content has been curated by the end of the submissions process, Itch.io will manually populate the bundle with all verified content.

3. We will require ALL confirmed entrants to the bundle to APPROVE the final bundle before it can go live. We expect this to take time, and will set a "deadline" to approve your confirmed submission or we will have to remove non-acceptees.

By participating in this bundle, you agree to approve the final bundle so that it may go live at the charity launch date.

4. Finalized bundle will go live on the charity launch date.

Reminder: This campaign is entirely volunteer-run, and we reserve the right to moderate the bundle to ensure it remains safe and free from any harmful or illegal content.
