I love the art style (especially the backdrop). I also like the story behind the game. However, a couple of things felt odd to me. One was that the character seemed to jump much higher than would be expected for his size. Not a big deal, but felt kinda strange at times. The other thing was that while I liked the idea of being hurt over time, it kind of undercuts the damage done by enemies. While enemies still did hurt you, they weren't significant to the amount you would be hurt by standing still. Still, good job.

Nice game! I like the interpretation of 2020 in this game. The art and music are pretty good and the character has sleek movement. Some issues w ere that the controls were not very well placed as I needed to put one hand on the left side of the keyboard and another on the mouse, I could not reach the U and J keys at all unless I let go of the mouse. The levels were easy to just run through and beat without actually killing the enemies. Other than that, I like the storyline of the game so well done!
The player feels good to control but the level design didn't reflect that and ended up getting in the way sometimes.
The game could do with some checkpoints but although its a bit rough , the game has a lot of promise
Nice game. Liked the audio as well. And the boss fight is great! Though on the other levels I found myself just running past enemies because trying to fight them was too difficult. I guess increasing the speed of the attack would make it easier.
Nice work! I think a lot of aspects of it are solid, however the lack of checkpoints - or really just the instant-death instead of subtracting a mask - became frustrating and made the first few areas cumbersome instead of fun. I also wish there were alternate inputs for some of the controls, as using P to pause the game and then having to use my mouse to use the menu seemed like a lot of back and forth. Nice music and graphics though!
I do like the idea of the health being the time limit throughout playing the levels, however, there are two issues I have with this game. One are the controls. It takes a while to get used to them, but it feels awkward shifting my fingers to the U and J keys in order to either heal myself or attack. Also, the F key isn't really what I use for an intractable button. It would usually be the E key. However, another problem I have is that the attack is too slow, which could really stifle combat, especially when you're attacking enemies that shoot back. Other than that, I do love the concept and the graphics.
Good job! I really like the take on the theme. I found myself just running past enemies because trying to fight them was too difficult and cost me health. I think increasing the attack range and/or speeding up the attack would help that. Also, sometimes if I jumped on a moving platform and then fell off, I couldn't jump back on it (I just kept falling through it). Otherwise, it's a fun game!
Good art and music. I also like how you incorporated many disasters over 2020. I found that I could just run past all the enemies though. Fighting was just making me lose health. I think that making the player gain health when they kill an enemy would be a good incentive to fight instead of running away. The boss fight was good and challenging. Great game!
Nice game. Better controlls with accelearation would be nice. The best game in the jam as far. Keep going
