i like the animation, and there was just right ammount of challenge, so i had to try a few times. Nice one!

Such a nice idea, i like this minimalistic black and white visual style and animations! Great work! Want more levels xD

Developer(+1)

Thank you :D We will add more levels and features after the jam!

Submitted(+1)

I loved the animation and liked the aesthetic, the game was fun and challenging I got stuck a bit but didnt take too long to figure it out. Great submission!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!

I really enjoyed this! Great idea the switches as a limited use thing. It could potentially be built upon by finding more "switches" throughout a level or something like that :)

Developer(+1)

That's a great idea! We're trying to decide what powerups we must add to the game, this could definitely be one of them XD

Submitted(+1)

good concept for the game. I don't know if its intended or not but block in black dimension, also can be stepped in white dimension. Consider usage of more SFX to make it more enjoyable. Overall good job for completing the game.

Developer

Yes this is an intentional mechanic for the game. Thanks for playing and for your comment! :D

I liked the idea and mechanic of the game, could have some interesting speedruns of no switches used, once you know the map well enough :D

Jumping felt really off for me, like when I ran and jump of off the edge of the platform, sometimes it just went down and didn't register my jump, maybe by just adding a bit collider backside of the player it would be more forgiving, or then make it in a better way and check how long has it been since "dropped" from ground and let the jump be registered.

Nice work on the game though! :)

Developer(+1)

Yes I agree, thank you for pointing it out! I will continue working on the game after the jam. Glad you liked it! :D

I liked the almost puzzle aspect with the limits for projection switches. Is it only the one level? I get to a door like thing and it restarts?

Some other sounds like jumping sounds would be good, I think the feel of the jumping could be improved as well, feels a bit slippery trying to stay on the platforms sometimes.

Overall good work, fun little game and cool concept.

Developer

Thanks for playing :D The game has 3 levels excluding the tutorial, but the beginning of each one is very similar to the other levels :P Will definitely improve the jump and the game overall after the jam!

Submitted(+1)

I like that you can still interact with the other platforms even when you can't see them
The jump I would have liked just a little higher for some of the step obstacles because it felt like you have to be very precise

Developer

Noted :D Thanks for playing!

Very smooth, I do wish there was a different button to switch dimensions because  trying to stuff my large man hands under one another proved challenging but that was my only gripe. Perhaps I should get a larger keyboard ;).  An interesting concept executed well with some fun level designs. Great Work!

Developer

Hahahaha thanks :D Really appreciated and noted!

This is really good! The idea of limiting how much switches you can do is a really good one because it makes you learn the level in order to beat it instead of switching tons of times (though maybe 10 switches is a tiny bit too generous). Great game overall!

Developer

Glad you liked it! Well I usually make my games too hard without noticing so I thought I'd be generous :P But yes I will definitely continue working on the game after the game :D

Nice! So glad to see you got it working.

I like how much you achieved with a minimalist black & white style. I think the little guy's run animation is cute. And making the dimensional switches a strategic resource is a twist I haven't seen elsewhere yet.

Nice work!

Developer

Thanks for playing! And your comment is truly appreciated :D

Wow, just finished playing the game and I have to say, it was so smooth and enjoyable! I absolutely loved the concept of switching dimensions; it was such a creative idea. It added a whole new level of excitement and challenge to the gameplay. A must-play for any gaming enthusiast!

Developer

Thank you so much :') We will continue working on the game after the jam, adding powerups, challenges, new levels, and art improvements. We're also considering releasing a mobile version!

Yooo, your game is amazing. I suck at platformers and I had some really frustrating moments there but it was really really good! The music is clean, the character is clean, it's pretty obvious to where you gotta go too. Really awesome man! Good job!

Developer(+1)

Made my day :') Thank you for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed the game!

Nice game! I really like the tutorial level. The art and music were also nice. It would be nice if I could jump with the w key as well. There is also a small typo in the tutorial level it says dimetion where I presume you meant to write dimension. When I tried selecting options nothing happened. I tried going backwards instead of forward in the third level, but ended up falling and the game didn’t restart.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! Yes I did notice the typo :P We had to rush through development to finish in time, and yes the Options button doesn't work for now. Concerning the third level, there are 2 ways to finish it, one of them is by traveling on a moving platform that drops you directly at the finish line. So I assume you dropped on it and returned to the main menu.

Thanks again for playing! We will definitely improve the game after the jam.

I like how you handled the two dimensions theme. Just shifting colors while the obstacles are still there, unexpected at first but in the end it works !

When you are on a platform, unless there is another block on screen you have no way to tell if you are moving, that bugged my brain ! Maybe you can find a way to indicate that the character is actually moving :)

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! We will definitely fix this issue after the jam, probably by adding environmental elements or providing a minimap. More suggestions are definitely appreciated :D Thanks for playing!

Hey there, I downloaded and tried to play your game but unfortunately I cannot progress beyond the Menu Screen.

When I click on any of these options, nothing occurs. In Unity, you usually have to set up OnClick() events for your buttons in the Inspector to call SceneManagement to advance to the next scene. Happy to try your build again if you want to attempt to upload a hotfix, which is explicitly allowed in the Jam's rules.

I also noticed that your file structure looks a little odd:

Not sure what happened here, but I'll just say that best practice is to make a new folder for each Build. Keep trying, I'm sure you can get a playable version uploaded in the next days before the Jam rating period ends!

Developer(+1)

I'm really sorry to hear that :( You should be able to use W/S or Up/Down, and press enter (the Options button is currently not available). The mouse click isn't working in this build as well, but we will fix it within a few hours.

Concerning the file structure, we apologize for this unorganized structure and will improve it as soon as possible.

Please try our game again when you can and thanks for your feedback!

The game launches but the buttons on the main menu don't seem to work:-(

Developer

I'm sorry for that :( Try using W/S or Up/Down, and pressing enter (the Options button is currently not available). The mouse click isn't working in this build as well, but we will fix it within a few hours.

We hope you enjoy the game! Thank you for your comment!
