Tower Defense lives on! My last jam game was a fresh take on tower defense too, I think this genre still has legs. Well, I do agree that the mouse sensitivity was too high and I kind of thought the tower placement was a little confusing at first because the tooltips flicker in fullscreen mode and I didn't see them at first. Ultimately minor stuff you could patch in a day. I think the way forward with this concept would be coming up with ways the two views could interact. For example, if you had towers that could freeze enemies in a group, then a gun that could fire a piercing line through multiple enemies, the player can start setting up amazing synergies. That's my advice! Otherwise a nice entry with lots of depth and potential!
I got to making a tower defense game just because i love arknights. So i set out to make one no matter the theme. In the end instead looking how to make it more synergetic i just wanted to work :D. But your feedback gives me great ideas thank you so much!
Interesting entry and view mechanics, my only complain is the 3d camera is so sensitive it gets dizzy easily, I like the 2 points of view and I think this game needs a little introduction to the mechanics and controls. Good luck!
Thank you for feedback! At this point enough people complained and especially your comment of getting dizzy made me realize that i do need to hotfix it and a sensitivity slider so that all people can play it. Thanks for the feedback!
ahh there is a top down mode with towers :-D just saw it the 2nd round ^^nice one,
the mouse is a little sensitive sometimes
I really liked having first person and top down views on the same game, great achievement adhering to the theme. The game was fun and the sounds and music matched the game.
Yes that's really the same idea we had :D brothers in mind or what is the saying? We could have made a team!
Good game, my man! I hope you will build your game further. Mine is to buggy :(
Hey! I just missed the sensibility control : ( Would like to play more but my dpi is pretty crazy for this.
Wow this is quite a complex mechanic you have implemented! I found the game very difficult overall but the concept was very cool. I'd love to see where this goes if it's developed further! Nice submission! 😎
Thanks for checking it and for the feedback!
Wow. I don´t like FPS and the sensitivity was super high. Also, I was unable to correctly equip the weapon I saved for. Could not see any tooltips either. Still liked it!
Tooltips only come up if you hover over the turret you want to place in the top down view but again that's my bad for nothing having a proper explanation in the game itself. Thanks for checking it out!
Pretty cool shooter, I enjoyed it but was mad that I always had to run after the gears that would slowly wander away from me. Mouse input was a little high for my taste but perfectly acceptable. A job well done!
so wow this got hard really fast. what i recommend is to ease the player in difficulty, start out slow, then ramp it up later.
Thanks for the feedback! Ye i was pushing pretty thin on my time finishing the game so didn't have much time to tweak the difficulty and just put it up as i felt was just challenging enough for myself the common trap of testing out too much :D
Like how the game looks. I agree with the other comments about the mouse sensitivity being too fast. Sometimes, I didn't even know I got hit since there are no visual or audio effect for it. Wish I could throw away the handgun and pick the machine gun up with one button. Liked how you implemented the theme. Had a lot of fun playing your game.
Thank you for checking out my game and the feedback next gaming is definitely getting sensitivity option :D
Cool system for upgrading using gears! I just couldn't figure out the fast shooting gun. I don't know if it is a bug, but I couldn't use it correctly
Since you can only hold one weapon you had to throw away your pistol with Q and pick up the rifle with E but thats on me for not having any instructions in the game asides from the description on the page. Thanks for checking the game out!
Thanks for playing my game. I like the idea of tower defense and fps. Quite enjoy playing it. Great music and theme too!
Thank you for checking my game out too!
Needs more help as didnt know what I was suppose to do.
In 3D mouse far too sensitive - but webgl can sometimes do that.
Went into 2d on second game after readig instructions but again struggled to know what to do.
Needs a tutorial.
Still has potential
Thanks for checking it & for the feedback! It was pretty hard working on 3d for the first time so my estimated time for what i wanted to do really got messed up :D
Really liked the vibe of the game (purple sky is super cool)!
Great game but i didnt't know that if all the eneimes went to that cube it will crrash overall good job
Ye that bug was unfortunate mistake with a lack of time on the last day. Thank you for giving it a go :D
Great game, controls are abit sensitive, overall good job 👍
I like it, the way you implemented 2 Dimensions was really cool, i wish i thought of that, Music and Audio fits perfectly. Took me a while to learn how to put towers up but honestly this is well done!
Thank you for giving it a go!
I love tower defence games, good job!!!
Thank you!
Thanks for the game! I initially didn't know how to build the towers, but once I could making it through wasn't too rough. A mouse sensitivity setting would be nice if you work more on the project.
I enjoyed the game and did make it all the way through. That last wave was pretty crazy!
Thank you for checking out the game!
