This was fantastic! I loved the music, it made me feel like a little hero cat. Also the cat animations were very cute, I like the way his feet step up and down in the idle animation :)

I was ready to give up, before i read the description - i thought those are like some fires that burn me and put me back at start :D but after reading (and turning volume way up) i got it. Pretty cool one, loved the music
nice! If you want to test our game there it is: https://astral-creation-studio.itch.io/your-princess-is-in-another-dimension
I loved that you took your skill set and developed a game with that and it damn worked! well done it would be scary to see what you could make with a team.
Sick guitar skills mate! Good job on the game, I wanted to keep going just to hear better guitar playing :)
I really like your game, the idea, that a cat brings the strings to its owner back and then she plays a song with only the amount of strings you have her brought is genius. And Did you play the songs by yourself? The gameplay is a bit simple, but who cares the rest of the game (most the aesthetic and the music) is perfect.
Your game is dynamite, friend! I've rated it. Mind giving my game a shot and sharing your rating?
Nice! This reminds me of a certain game I had on the NES back in the day. The name is on the tip of my tongue. I really like the idea with the music and how it's used
No matter what, you've finished the game. You should be proud of yourself. In general, the idea is cute and I liked your cat.
Thank you!
Despite how simple this game is, I actually loved it. It made me feel so cozy inside, I wanted to just sit on the guys lap the whole time and listen to his music. I must ask, did you record yourself playing? Either way it set a lovely tone for the game, I'd love to know what the story you intended for it was!
I forgot to answer the second part of your question :-| So the original plan was this:
Introscene with the man walking (taking one step per scene). On the first picture he's seen surrounded by many friends, smiling while walking and he is young. On the top a text reads (this text never got any further than a draft) : "Bjorn was a happy man, living life to the fullest and enjoying every second of it."
As the pictures go on he's getting older and almost all the words fade away until we're left with "Bjorn was a man, living." (or something along those lines).
Last picture before game starts he let's a random cat in the door, ignoring it and then sits down.
Game starts.
When all the strings were collected the player would loose control of the cat, and the cat would jump up into Bjorns lap, falling asleep. At the same time the text would show up again, and the word "happy" would fade into the text again making it read " Bjorn was a happy man, living". Then, right as the screen goes dark as the game closes, the word living fades away as Bjorn closes his eyes.
Hey Remiusora, don't feel bad about your skills or any bugs in your entry, the story is great! The only thing i would add is a simple sound when the cat jumps and when you collect a string, its important to let the player know when things happen. I know its boring, i also find it boring but the audio is important. Good luck on your gamedev journey!
Hi! Thank you for the feedback😃 You are absolutely correct, audio is important and I had a plan to hold a bowl of cat food over my cats head to get it to meow into a microphone so I could use that each time the cat jumps, but I never got around to do it. I regret not putting that higher on my to do list, as it is, as you say, an important asset for the enjoyment of the game.
Thanks again for the feedback, and I’ll make sure to try out your game(s) as soon as I get off work😉
