Yes all assets used were CCO from OpenGameArt (8 bit cave loop, gameboy platformer art, 8bit death whirl, jumping man sounds, oldschool win and die jump and run sounds, kenney fonts)

Thanks for the input! I'll have to make some updates over time.  I added a web build so more people can play it.

Short and simple game with basic mechanics. The art and music were selected well and didn't clash with each other. 

Some feedback:

  • Make the .exe window resizable or make it a larger resolution by default
  • I had to use trial and error to find which areas of the floor were spikes as I couldn't see them at the top of the level.
  • The spikes have oversized hitboxes, at least horizontally.
  • You should upload a web build to get more plays and ratings. I don't use godot but I've heard it exports to html fairly easily.

However, these were fairly minor issues and didn't really affect my enjoyment of the game. I hope you'll add more levels and keep improving it. Good job!
