Thank you Hadley! Yeah navigation, that ended up playing much more of a role than I anticipated when I was first conceptualizing. I didn't want to just draw a line for the player to trace, but maybe the player icon could be a rotating arrow at least. Still thinking about it. One part of the loop idea for me was that the more you deliver, the more you learn the map and the locations, any shortcuts, and your skill improves because of that, over time, in addition to upgrades.
Drifting around this city is pretty fun! And I like the glow tower on delivery sites. Helps a lot when you get close.
Thank you Maya! Yeah, I also caught myself just cruising quite a few times while developing and had to snap back to work. Getting the assists to navigation right without absolutely just leading the player by the nose proved to be much more of a balancing act than I expected. Thanks for the kind words!

Hey fellow synthwave and emission enthusiast! Love the game. It was fun cruising around and delivering pizza. Reminded me of crazy taxi. I would suggest adding some kind of visual so the player knows what he's unlocking with the money. Other than that great game!
Yeah, I don't know how obvious it is but the progression system was the last thing I hacked in before time was up and I had to finalize. I had *much* more ambitious ideas for it, but had to settle for this basic implementation for now or else have none at all which wouldn't really work at all, now would it? Thanks for the kind words. :)

Honestly, I should probably add a mode for that. Like, hit Tab to go off the clock or something and just vibe out until you get back to the Pizza Gates. Maybe after the rating period is up.
