As soon as I saw the pic of the mole, I knew I had to check it out. You have a fun and morbid concept here. I was having a good time sacrificing my moles, though I couldn't figure out how to get across that river! They kept floating away. What's the trick?

Yeah, for that level, the trick was to die upstream first so that you have more time. I also just realized from your comment that I forgot to mention that Shift is sprint into controls, so that might've been the issue.
My partner did discourage me from committing to the moving lava, so the levels after that don't have moving lava, but I wanted to keep it at least for that first level since I spent so long making the physics work. In hindsight, that was probably not such a good idea.
