Looks cool! :)

Great job! The levels look quite polished, I would say, with satisfying sword slashing (even if some sound effects when hitting an enemy would push it a bit further even). I really liked the credits level, with the 'hidden' Easter egg of your own name just in the back of the player.

I have to say, though, I was starting to get a bit sick with the movement. I only got the Quest 2 yesterday, so most likely I'm still too sensitive to VR, but I can see why the introductory apps opt for teleporting instead of movement. But, I totally understand that teleporting wouldn't work here. Hehehe, I don't have a solution, I don't even know if it's an actual problem :D, just wanted to let you know.

In any case, it's a great experience. I hope you keep doing VR things!

Glad you enjoyed it. And as for the motion sickness it gets better the more you play well that's for most. I will be trying to add some motion sickness setting for future games . Like telleportation / or that black circle thing that becomes smaller the faster you move. Thank you for the feedback have a lovely day

Nice job on creating it but I don't have the hardware to test it (yet).

🥲. It's okay buddy you will get there. And I'll try to make future game more accessible by making quest native versions to well that if I can get the game engines to stop screaming 😱  at me. That way more people can play / test my games as I grow as a developer. Thave a good day dude.

it's so nice to find a VR game in the jam - but at the same time, I feel sorry that so little people were actually able to play. well, i did play it and had a fun time.
first i was a bit irritaed by the floaty movement, but when I had to dodge the fireballs in the last level while swinging my sword at those ghost, I actually felt like knight on rollerblades driwing gracefully around while serving death left and right.
also: it's super cool, that the sword is spinning when you throw it. now, if you could recall it as well...;-)

how was working in vr with godot for you guys? i did a lot of unity vr development and it's quite the mixed back for me ;-)

Developer

thank you for playing. :) 😀  well working in vr with godot it not bad the game engine developers still got lots to do to make it better and faster to use/do some stuff but if you use the provided plug in and the vr tool kit it saves a lot of time doing stuff I had no idea to do :)😀.  Other wise it like making any other game as you create everything  in parts and them assembled them to make different creatures, objects and levels. And lots of smashing buggos as some of the stuff don't like the vr cameras 🙄.

Could you export it for Linux? I would really like to give it a try natively :)
(yes I'm one of those weird rare linux/vr users :)

I could do a penguis build but I have no idea if it's gonna work but will do it now. And post it in a few

Developer

i added a penguins build but I got no clue if it works to lazy to make/find out if quest 2 and air link gonna work on penguins now :) would like to know. Have a nice day link to game page (download me pls)

It does work, thanks for trying it. Only tried with Monado, but with SteamVR it should work the same.

The only linux support for the oculus quest is with ALVR. Their linux version is still experimental/in progress, but should be working.

that's good then enjoy will add a penguins build from the start next time have a lovely day dude

Nice, another VR game. I tried it and it looks pretty cool. My only criticism would be the lack of feedback when hitting enemies. Other than that, I’m glad to see I wasn’t the only one with a VR game. If you are interested in VR and have a headset yourself, do check out my game.

I am gonna do that dude was on my schedule for to day. And thanks for the feed back sorry about the lack of feedback when doing / getting damage (visuals/audio/vibrations) got cut as some stuff just did not wanna integrate and play nice with each other. I am currently  busy redoing the health manager system as to allow for a much better and more easy-to-use tool with suff like hurt noise and heal noises and some vibration when hitting stuff.
