I did not make it to the end so someone needs to fill me in on anything fun I missed x) I tried, but that damn narrator... It was amusing though and I had fun seeing its reactions to my answers. I feel like I would have tried again and maybe made it to the end if I didn't have to keep switching over with the mouse from the answers to the continue button each time. When you've died a lot, that gets tedious, so it would help if you could just press space or enter or something to continue instead. Anyway, 5/5 humor.

Absolutely infuriating in the best way possible 🤣 I loved the concept but felt it became more of a memory game of which path I took as I progressed further. I love the uniqueness of the theme though. Congrats on the submission!
Thanks!
Yes, ideally I wanted the player to "know" the interlocutor, and guess the right choices at a certain point. But, you know, that's a difficult task XD So I guess it's actually a memory game at the end. I plan to add an option in the future to highlight the choices already made.
Thanks for playing! Glad you appreciated the game!
LOL... You nearly had me quit. Nice idea and very nicely breaking the 4th wall. ... And I was very happy when it did not kick me back to the beginning anymore.
I think using ink here would have been a great thing. You can do really nice story branching and weaves with it... and it's all free. https://www.inklestudios.com/ink/ There are easy branches when you hit a node for the n-th time and other fun stuff.
It was really enjoyable! It was a very fun idea to mess with the player like you did and you did it pretty well.
Most fun I've had in an indie game since i started learning. This was both brilliant and a masterpiece. I didn't hear any music when i played but a viewer in the stream said there was music in the platformer section. So not sure about that but it's a brilliant game. Awesome.
Damn I lost the stream! I wanted to attend, but I was called in a sudden job meeting :( sorry about that. Glad you enjoyed the game! Hope you had fun with it. Maybe it's not ideal for streaming, since there is a lot of text and not much action, but whatever XD
Do you have a link to your stream, so that I can have a look? I would love to see a reaction, since I did not have any play testing, and honestly I don't have a clue on how much frustrated a person can get while trying to get to the end :P
Thanks a lot for the nice words!
Playing submissions for the Gamedev.TV Game Jam https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2022 #GDTVJAM - Twitch it's the very first game. Sorry if my laughing is too loud :)

Great submission, fun little text game with a great humor added to it.
I really liked your humour, had a great time discussing in the after life :-)
Wow great twist on the text genre. You did a great job on the dialogue, so much so that I was shocked that there was more to the game. Great work!
I think it should have more save points.
I've never felt so self-conscious about writing a comment, that in itself makes your game a winner.
yeah I actually wanted to make one more save point inside the level. The problem was that it has to be meaningful with the story and the loop, and i could not find a good place in the few time i worked on this (3 evenings only😑). Save point is harder than it seems unfortunately.
Thanks for playing, and glad you enjoyed this game. I'll play yours as soon as I can!
Congrats on completing the jam! I thought it was amusing. It would be nice if there was a way to mark of conversation choices you've already explored. Also space bar to continue would speed things up.
An interesting idea. Frustrating to the point it was hard to even get to the game. which was the point I get. I could see this being pretty fun with some more polish and time.
A pure story experience.
Rare during a game jam but always very very enjoyable!
I think the game is perfect as is, but what could help people get to the end faster or at all is highlighting dialogue options you died to already. Just a thought!
Really amazing work Justin
~ Sincerely Frank
I REALLY TRIIIEEED. couldn't make. not frank enough, it seems...
also: thanks again for pointing out the "harware acceleration" setting in browser in the gamedev.tv chat - it lead me to releasing my game in webGL finally! (*wink* *wink*)
