Super funky and spacey game :-D I love clicker games, and this is no exception. I think it is a rather unique approach, that the player can select how much time they have to beat the level, and then granting them the ability to fast forward within that period. That is an interesting interpretation and utilization of the theme I think.

Cool game, well done :-)

Neat cookie clicker! Like the background, lots of options! But what are McGuffins!?

Developer

Thanks! McGuffin is a term used often by writers, it refers to a plot device that is a goal or primary motivator. For instance, in a cookie clicker, the cookie is the McGuffin, but for instance in a film like Raiders of the Lost Ark, the Ark is the McGuffin that the characters are working to find or obtain.

the idea to have a finit idle game, is pretty good, i mean it's a big break with the basic of iddle game, that the more time you spend on the game, the stronger you are, but this is an interesting idea.

Developer

Thanks! The further I got into the game jam, the more I was trying to play with the concept of time, and the time challenges came out of that.

I love a good clicker game. I think the options could have been labeled a bit differently, but I did spend quite a lot of time on it.

Developer

Thanks for the comment! I was kind of struggling with how to label things and make the different functions feel more intuitive for players. The game could probably use a more interactive tutorial instead of just a "how to play" screen, but during the jam I was more focused on implementing the mechanics.

Nice sounds. Clicking the buy button gave me nostalgic feeling, it reminds me of the times when I was a kid messing around on telephone.

Developer

Glad to hear it, that was the goal I had when I was making the sounds!

Cool game. I like buying stuff. The sound played when I buy McGuffins is very addictive.

I love these clicker management games (I guess that is how you call them)

It feels like Antimatter and I like the crazy psychodelic background.

Hey thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed it!

Good game, however I noticed a few aspects.

The good parts:

1. Well made UI.

2. The game has a simple and interesting appearance

3. The possibility to enlarge the screen is very useful.

4. The possibility of using an auto-clicker is very useful.

The bad parts:

1. The game doesn't even have background music.

2. The lack of a tutorial in the game made me confused about what each button does, so after a few minutes I stopped because I didn't know what else to do.

Edit : I cut the problems that I found in the previous version. I have no complaints to say. :)

Thanks for the feedback! The game is still being worked on throughout the rest of the jam, and audio and a basic tutorial will be added, as well as some new functionality, bug fixes and even some animations.

Your constructive criticism is much appreciated!

Yeah, don't take me too serious, I just like to give complete feedback about the game. I may not be a good developer myself, but I am a good game tester. :D

Developer(+1)

Well your feedback was serious and respectful so why shouldn't I take it as such?

Anyhow, a tutorial has been added, and a design overhaul has begun (not finalized).  Audio is not yet in the game but it's coming soon, I just hit a bug with the audio player/events so I left all audio disabled in today's build.

Cheers!
