honestly, any feedback AT ALL is helpful. I’m happy to do the same in return if needed

Yes, on mobile it was a little more playable/easy, but still rough for me.  I'm not much of a gamer.  Perhaps you can have an -easy-easy- mode that will auto ping at a configurable interval.  You still have a few days, that might be something to add.

memory retention is I suppose an external mechanic of the game - remembering the layout. having a continuous ping would break this I feel. although, if there is a call for it I will definitely consider implementing

For starters, I love the game-boy layer on desktop, getting into the game now...

Wow, pretty cool.  It was a little hard for me to mouse click and use the keyboard to move, but with practice and readjustment I might be more successful.  I'll give it a try on mobile, my guess is the game mechanic will be very pleasing!

Nice WAVES for sure.

( My game submission is a standard game but added a lot of WAVE themes to it -- not really a WAVES game like yours, feel free to git it a try, I put a lot of time into it ).

WASD and space bar may work easier for you. I'll take a peak at yours now!

I just tested, I really love the game! Very nice idea, love the gb vibe, and quite easy to understand what needs to be done.

On mobile I had some display issue, even in full screen I couldn't see the settings button completely. And when I arrived to the hyperspeed level or something, I got completely stuck.

I tried on laptop and it was much more enjoyable, though in that hyperspeed level, the camera doesn't seem to turn for some reason, I'm always facing the same direction, but maybe it's intended. Using the map helped finish the level.

One thing I found a bit weird is that it seems a bit unbalanced with enemies. Sometimes I get a few levels without any, sometimes I get 3 on the first level. One time I got touched before I could even ping.

But overall very cool game, would love to see where it goes, very well done !

I have just check and I had (rather lazily) included instructions for the controls… however, I recognise that this was insufficient and so have added a much more detailed explanation to rid any doubt. Hopefully this helps, especially with the rotation issue you were having! :D

Thank you for the feedback. I must say, and I think it may be my fault, the sonar button doubles up as a directional analog stick during the hyperspeed/ 3d levels. I may have omitted that from the description. I will fix that. In relation to the enemies, it’s random really, with an increasing (yet not guaranteed) chance of enemies on the level as you progress through the levels.

Ah, got it now, thanks for the instructions! Maybe just adding an animation around the button when we arrive to the first 3d level could help with that. For keyboard it's also not so obvious that you can use the arrows as well.

But now that I got it, feels very nice to go around in 3d in that maze aha.
