I would have loved some looney-toons mid air jumping ability when walking off a ledge to dispatch the abject horror I felt when one of my triangle fellows decided that jumping off the platform was too hard and falling all the way to the bottom of the level was a much better game plan. The music, especially when switching sides was fantastic along with theme implementation and core level design. A fantastic entry, Great work!

Really like the presentation of this game as both the art and the audio worked well together. The basic concept is really solid but much like some of the others say, the platforming mechanics hold it back a bit. The jumps were very unforgiving, especially when the red character is as heavy as he is, forcing you to time jumps perfectly. This led to level 2 being a huge frustration as the every time I'd try to jump to the exit platformer, it would either ignore my input or walk him off the edge before registering it. This made the game a lot more frustrating than it other wise would be, because I actually felt the level design and the core idea of the gameplay were really great. That said, with more time to polish those issues I think the core here is something you could turn into a full game and do well with so great job regardless!

Personally I would have made a bigger jump and faster movement that felt more natural and just zoomed out a little but pretty good overall! Nice work!

My first softlock was on level 2 lol, honestly kinda impressive.

The puzzles were solid, and the art style was very good, but the platforming mechanics really held this game back. Controls were kinda finnicky, and there were times where I wouldn't jump (idk if it's because I jumped too late and the game lacks coyote time, or if the game just ate my input).

One of the difficulties with making a puzzle platformer is deciding how much challenge to put into the movement aspect - where, once a player knows how to solve a puzzle, how much time should it take them to implement that solution?

There's obviously no concrete answer to that question, it's different for every puzzle platformer. But maybe there didn't need to be quite so many gaps in the platforms that you need to jump over every time you move about the stage. Ditto with the spikes that make you restart the levels.

That was quite tough. Puzzles were challenging but the real challenge was fighting with mechanics.

Characters would not jump sometimes. One of the character would also fall off randomly while controlling the other character.

I also got stuck in certain areas, one of them being stuck in a small opening between 2 platforms and the other in which the spring got stuck on the head preventing me from jumping or moving properly.

Another thing I noticed is when you restart from menu, the music just goes away in certain levels.

That being said, The level design and puzzles were really good. The artsyle was gorgeous and the music was nice. The music changes depending on which character you're playing on, which I thought was a really nice touch.

Nice art style and great idea. Well done.

Thank you tripod!

The art style really drew me in. Youā€™ve got something there!

The gameplay on the other hand felt a bit sluggish and finnicky, especially trying to get the elevators to be at the perfect position.

It could be that the presentation created really expectations :ā€™)

At times, the platforming can feel a little slow and stiff, and could use some coyote time.

Having said that, everything else about the game is incredibly complete, professional, and polished. Itā€™s a really well made game! The visuals are beautiful and the two complementary music tracks for Redd and Pixel are super pleasing to listen to.

Awesome work, team!

Thank you, Diego Escalante!

We are sorry about you wrong feeling about the platforming sections. The jump will be fixed in the next update !

I loved the visual style and weird soundtrack. Also, it's a great idea that you unlocked all the levels so it's possible to skip some of them if you got stuck.

There are new mechanics introduced at each level, but in my opinion some of those levels take a bit too long, so dying right at the end doesn't feel good... So I would prefer shorter simpler levels personally, but there are probably people who like things the way they are.

Great job! Good luck with your future projects!

Amazing game! I enjoyed playing it and figuring out the solution. The arts and the design really made me dive into the game.
