From reading the description, I was looking forward to the amount of effort you put into the graphical simulation of the solar system, but it was difficult to appreciate while playing the game. Since the robot doesn't seem to be able to look up and down, I wasn't sure if there were some awesome planets above or below me. I liked the graphics and UI a lot though.

Developer

I appreciate the feedback. I did include all nine planets, to include Pluto; however, I didn't have enough time to work the puzzles all the way through. I probably should have adjusted the planets so they're actually in view for this game jam. I believe I implemented a look feature by moving the mouse. I will have to check into that. Thanks for playing.

Camera was a real struggle and even game me motion sickness.
Maybe adding dynamically changing mazes would make game more challenging because in current gameplay you only have to slide towards the red button and eventually find the way.

Developer

Thanks for the input. I've considered dynamic changing mazes, but figured I didn't have enough time during this game jam. I may try to implement that at some point.

Pretty interesting maze game. It is fun to play, but the only thing I would recommend is maybe having a slight differentiation between walls and pathways to make it a little more intentional feeling for the player. Well done overall though!

Thank You. I actually thought about including different types of puzzles in each room. Like maybe a memory game where you have to step on certain color blocks in a certain order.

Pretty creative interpretation of the theme, good job!

Developer

Thank You! Tried my best. :)

The mechanic of having to chart the maze yourself by manually testing the walls is an interesting mechanic, and it is fun for some time, but it quickly overstays its welcome. In a game like this, I think it is often helpful to only make a few levels, and spend the rest of the time working on polish. Because it is a genuinely fun mechanic, just not for a super long time.

I also most curse your name for making me walk for like 10 minutes to get to Jupiter only to give me a dead end. Only a monster would do that!

lol I'm sorry. Thanks for the tip. I actually planned on making the mazes go to the 9th planet, but just didn't have enough time. All nine planets do actually exist in the world, you're just unable to see that far in the game. Something I might do in later updates is include different types of puzzles, not just mazes. So, maybe like a memory puzzle where you have to step on certain color pieces in a certain order, etc. and whatever other kind of puzzles I can think of.

Weird puzzzles. No clue what was going on

Sorry you had that experience! Any idea how to make it more apparent what to do? The puzzles are mazes. You just have to work your way around the walls to get to the red button.
