Super interesting concept, well done!
Thanks for the feedback
Man the idea is solid!
You can expand the gameplay, polish the art and you can make a really solid, fun, replayable game from idea.
I read your comment in game page you are new developer, I think you are brilliant, keep it going!
Yeah thanks i'm starting to really get committed to this game dev stuff but sophomore year in high school kind of sucks.
It will always be there a thing kind of sucks :D. But if you continue whatever happens, you will be very successful.
thats encouraging thanks a lot
Fantastic concept! Choose your own platformer. I loved it.
Thanks
I like the concept and play on the theme! I wish there was a retry or pause menu to restart.
Yeah I last minute decide to make it a web build. And most of the stuff was built for a standalone build.
There's a great little concept for a game that you've demonstrated with this prototype, which I really hope you continue to work on and polish. I found the idea of writing your own story to be quite interesting, and then to have it literally turn into a game you play would be amazing. I did end up wondering around as a house xD and a Skunk killed me really easily (it was difficult to control the house). So for me you are demonstrating something really innovative here that has huge potential. I also loved your take on the Theme, turning 'Right from Wrong' into 'Write from Wrong' Great job on this and please continue to develop this!
Thank you so much for this comment I was thinking of later making a reprised version but not as a platformer were your decisions in the book had a greater effect on the game more than just player, enemies and items. I was am going to achieve this feel by unbalancing the enemies so if you choose a book that say represents a dragon you will just straight up loose then you will remember for your next game lets not choose that one or use it in a context that is beneficial. Lastly I think I will make the selection for each section start before you enter that section so that you don't fill everything out at the beginning. Giving it more impact.
Alright,
This game is sooo underrated
The idea is totally great, and the execution is truly amazing.
The only thing I would add is a replay button instead of just restarting the page, and maybe some better turtorial?
Beutiful anyways. Good job and keep it up!
sorry bout that issue had to do with i had to remove some features for compatibility with a web build. Thank you for the kind works
Pretty interesting concept!
I def think there needs to be some rebalancing (UFO was pretty hard to control!) Also it seems like dying and restarting is bugged.
Otherwise, this was a pretty cute game. Great work!
thank you this was actually my first 2d game and my first jam. It was hard to balance school work with game dev. I am so glad you enjoyed it. Sorry about all the bugs the switch to web build was last minute.
