Camera and movement are really tricky to control, i also had some issues understanding what key to press for the homing attack, since the hint just kept disappearing when i tried to read it. Music was quite nice and models were funny

Ok, so, Main Character is very cool, I really like the whole theme and didn't fully understand the piece of bread in her mouth but I found it incredibly funny nonetheless, and the little sounds when she was charging the speed and jumping, really liked that.

Overall Graphics and models were good enough.

Music was very cool, but also very repetitive.

As for the gameplay, this was definitely the low point of the game, I like the idea and think it will turn-out amazing, once you can fix and rework some things, Sonic vibes all along, I used to love the 3D sonic games! But yeah camera was unplayable on keyboard and mouse, a little better on controller but still not very pleasant, movement was similar, felt a little too slidey and unexpected, I died I dumb amount of times because I was having a hard time judging jump distance and how much input to give. (Sidenote, I like the checkpoint system, with a few exceptions it would usually take me right back to where I was before, but I would like to ask that you lower the amount of time one has to wait before restarting, also I wish you could do the dash thing not only when airborne but also when in the ground).

From looking at the screenshots it seems as though I sadly gave up a little too early because it seems you had much more for me to look at. But as a whole this is a pretty creative and fun take on speedy 3D platforming, if you can touch up the gameplay, add some variation to the music, fix some keyboard and mouse compatibility and give us some more info on the story or plot of the game, I think it would make for a really awesome time! Great job, specially if you guys are new at this, quite impressive!

Wow! Thanks so much for the thorough feedback, hugely appreciate it!

Yeah it seems I buggered it a bit on the controls, I guess after hours of playing it every day it’s easy to think things work cuz you’re so used to it - something to bear in mind moving forward :D

Thanks again for the feedback and the kind words! We are indeed new so getting responses like this is super helpful to know where we need to spend time working on. Cheers :)

I honestly wanted to play this game, but unfortunately, the camera was twitching from side to side constantly, even if i didn't move the mouse.

Developer

Oh gosh okay, sorry about that!

Seems quite a few people have had issues pop up which we never had in dev, comes with the territory of being new I suppose :D

Thanks for your interest at least, sorry that the experience didn’t pan out for you!

Love the music and the graphics. Really hard to control the fish character, I don't know if that's part of the intention -- cuz it's a running fish, but it seems like it's kind of hinged on the direction of the camera, but somewhat independent. It was really difficult to manuever.

Developer

Ah - sorry to hear about the controls not working so well for you!

Just to check if you don’t mind replying (if not absolutely no stress!), were you using keyboard/mouse or a gamepad? It was designed with gamepad in mind see so if the gamepad controls feel bad, that’s something I’d definitely want to fix moving forward.

In hindsight we only actually mention this in the descriptions rather than anywhere in game which is very much our bad!

Glad you enjoyed the parts you did; thanks so much for checking it out :)

That did make it easier. I still had some problems. The movement / traction was pretty slippery and I'd often get stuck in a squatting position after doing the boost jump.

Developer

Grand, defo something to have more of a play with then!

Thanks again for your feedback and taking the time to reply mate, appreciate it :D

I love the concept and the graphics! The game design is great and the environment is beautiful. A little bit difficult to use the character and play through the beginning, but great job!

Pretty cool music, liked the missile attack, it feels really good.

I fell off the map inside a building in the cul-de-sac part
