This game has a very menacing look and sound to it. Love the soundtrack of blips and buzzing insects. Spooky. I think it could maybe benefit from a bit more guidance as you start playing about how to navigate the world as I had a hard time with that. Having the computer system be a character was also a pretty charming choice although I couldn't pick the computer up. Looking forward to seeing where the game goes.
Thank you for your kind comment. We are glad that you enjoyed the points you highlighted, and I am also grateful for your constructive criticism.
The sound effects you mentioned were especially the ones we spent time on, and we are very happy that you got joy from it. But we are also aware that we have shortcomings in many aspects (like the lack of music), if one day we got chance to rebuild the game wish you will have time to replay and share the joy we experienced while creating FlashBug.
Hello, just played the game and the art was really good, liked that a lot, but I wasn't able to make it past the first climbing bit because as soon as I was on the first leaf and tried to jump on the second one, I went down the first one. Apart from that, I am slightly sad that there was no music, I think it could have added a lot, but it is just a shame I couldn't actually play the game due to that bug!
Thank you for taking your time and playing our game, I am sure our art guy is jumping with joy in his living room right now ;). Due to cluster of problems that we experienced the last day of jam, we hardly submitted our game 4 minutes before the deadline and some of improvements were lost due to compatibility issues. Lessons learned, notes taken. We are aware that a lot of areas needs to be polished and after we get the time to rest and think on it we will gladly revisit and rise the flashbug.
Ok, thanks for explaining that, you really did cut it close, I'm glad you were able to actually submit in time!
TBH we were surprised that we could submit. It was really stressful :D we can't wait to work on our next project.
