Theme interpretation
We set our game among the moons of Saturn and made travelling from moon to moon (ie, shooting for a moon) a gameplay element.
Also, your primary goal to earn a lot from very little - taking a great risk for a great reward.

Really cool and immersive experience! I like many aspects of the game, the theme interpretation, the relaxing pace together with the variety of music styles (love the cat tune one) also the emails feature is awesome.

It would be nice to have lateral rocket thrust too, together with the frontal and rear ones will give the player total control of the ship.

I love the concept! Great job!

Wow, amazing gem, really loved the music and sound design, the mechanics of trading are simple but interesting, and the hand painted cats are totally <3 <3 Also the scale of the planet travels feels very real. Kudos!

Developer

Thanks, we're glad you liked it! We'll probably have cats in all our games and get better with each game so keep an eye out ;D

Nice graphics and music :-)

As other stated, the pace is a bit too slow, but that should be easy to fix

Developer

Thanks! Pacing is definitely going to be our focus next time :D

Really liked your game.

The theme enterpretation, music and art design are beautifull.

Maybe the game in need for some changes. Faster ship? Additional Interaction on planets? Additional activities on the fly?

The fly from moon to moon is a bit slow, player can get tired from it. Be better to reward him on every points of his track?

Developer

Definitely agree about the moon to moon travel needing something :D

We deliberately cut back on some of our ideas (eg, being able to board space stations) to make sure we'd finish - I wish we could have made the game we originally came up with but it was much too big a project for a month!

Submitted

The theme is gold and the music is just beautiful. You even have several genres there to make long-distance travel enjoyable.

Developer

I like to challenge myself but I still think I could have pushed for some other genres ;D

Thanks for the feedback!

I love it!!! Really cute! HAHAH! Very great scenes transitions!!

Developer

Thanks, we're glad you liked it!

Loved it! Very charming cat theme, which kept me well entertained despite the long travel distances. I think your idea of the emails being read out would have been really nice, though some kind of side activity or something cool to look at would have done the same trick. Great soundtrack too, had me bopping my head to it :)

Developer

Thanks! We were thinking of adding side quests but never figured out how they would work - a project for next time ;D

This game has a lot of character.  The intro art was amazing.  I enjoyed looking for crates/boxes during my travel between trading posts.  Well done.

If you like platformers, please try our game.

Developer

Thanks, we're glad you liked it! I've added your game to our list to try and we'll leave some feedback as soon as we do :)

The premise is so cute, and I love the art for the intro sequence and title/pause screen. The sellers also have amazingly charming and cute models, my favorite is the little black puffball of a kitty. The emails are also nice to read when they pop in. I agree with others that the travel time between the different moons feel too long, it ends up hindering the gameplay since there are long stretches of just waiting to arrive. If it wasn't for that, it would be purrfect.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, we're glad you liked it! The black cat is based on our own naughty housemate ;D

We were talking about the game more last night and realised we could have had the emails being read out to you during the long travel sequences! The recordings are already in the game and everything! Oh well, next time...

I must say, the cat theme is amazing, all the different types of cat sellers made me laugh hard haha

The navigation took some time to get used to, i got to max speed, and then it was really hard to turn around.

Very nice intro :D

Developer

Thanks, we're glad you had fun! We decided to keep the navigation a little hard to make it part of the game's challenge but didn't spend enough time play testing so it's not as fun as it should be :(

On my Linux I run Win version throught the Wine, but there were glitches, I didn't see any text, so I didn't know what to do :( In general, I like the matching of sound and graphics, gameplay. "Elite" style?

Developer

Yeah, Elite was a big influence :D

I was too focused on building for Windows, I really should have made builds for other OS's - just doing a MacOS build now so I'll try a Linux build too. It'll be untested though so no idea if it will work any better ;p

Submitted(+1)

I only have a Mac, wish there was a mac build or a WebGL build :( Artwork looks really cool would love to try it.

Developer

I always forget to build for Mac D:

I'll put one up now!

Never tried WebGL, I'll have to investigate it for next time :D

Cats! Instant approval from me.

Nice work with the music. I like how you create the naration and story to it.

I kinda confuse tho. Is the ship suppose to move 'backward' or am doing it wrong?

This is an awesome game. Good work!

Developer

Pressing space will toggle the main thrusters on and off but holding S will fire the braking thrusters - that might be what's making you move backwards. In the minimap the front of the ship is the end without two spikes if that helps!

We're glad you had fun anyway!

Cute game! The music is really great, it will stay in my head for a few hours xD

I just found the travel time between moon a little longer that thez should have been. I would have continue to play if it wasn't for this.

I enjoyed playing it!

Developer(+1)

Thanks - you can get a copy of the music in the GitHub repository if you want!

We probably should have had more people play test to check the flight time between moons to make sure it was fun ;p

The art is so pretty, each shop with the 3d renders of the cats left me in absolute awe.

The music also fits the game so well and the atmosphere / backstory is really cute.

This game definitely has a unique vibe to it :)

Only complaint would be that the planets are a bit too far from each other and since space is being space, there is not much to do in the void (the mails are a cool addition though, more of it would have been nice).

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for the feedback, we're glad you like it!

We were super attached to keeping "realistic" distances between the moons and couldn't let it go but never found a way to make it as fun as it needed to be :p We racked our brains trying to think of ways to keep the space travel interesting but didn't have much luck - it's a big chunk of the game so definitely needed more polish!

I became so invested in reuniting these cats that I absolutely HAD to finish the game. The design of the cats in the shops were so cute too. The best thing though, had to be the theme that would start playing when you're flying between stations. It actually had me grooving along to it.

Developer

We're so glad you liked it, we hope the ending made you happy! If you'd like a copy of the music it's in the GitHub repository :)
