A talking woodland creature? Well now, I think it's safe to say I'm fairly used to that. All jokes aside, this was pretty fun to read. I got to pet a big fluffy dog, what more could I want? Going around the different locations and meeting the different beings along the way was pretty delightful until I ran into that fortune teller. She flipped over my text and made it quite difficult to keep reading in that play-through! Nice work though, really liked how you wrote it.

You write so well! I wished there was some graphics and sound to help me get more in the story!

I hope you'll make a postjam version with it :)

It was so much fun to play another text adventure.  I really enjoyed your writing!

I love the description of the cinnamon roll, and I adore  the girl painting her feet.  I about died when I read "kisses you on the cheek without worrying at all about social distancing".  And my own text adventure game also involved a suspicious German rocket scientist.  :-)

I also like the way your game engine gets the game details from that JSON file.

Well done!

Thanks for the kind words. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

As a famous fortune teller would say, "!boj taerg" The game was much more indepth than I first realized. Only drank 2 cups of coffee but survived a curse because of my pies. Met a ghost and lived. Sadly my game ended in the woods since I lacked a sword.  That was fun, thanks for making this, your writing and sense of exploration kept me engaged!

Unfortunately doesn’t open on Mac (Big Sur). I am so curious so I will try it as soon as I can open it on Windows. Just wanted to tell you in case you’re curious about platform support. I will update this comment or reply to myself when I get to play it!

Developer

Thank you! I compiled on a Mojave virtual machine that I threw together. Sad but not surprised it didn’t work on Big Sur. I’ll have to look into it.

I will definitely play on windows but if in the future you need to test a new build on Big Sur, feel free to send my way.

What am I supposed to do with "Gaphics" and "sound" ratings haha

Really nice! It changes a lot compared to other entries.

I got stuck in the arcade I had to restart but it was ok since it was at the beginning.

Because english isn't my mothertongue there was approximately 2 words I didnt know every sentence so sometimes it was hard getting into it but I could still appreciate 2nd degree and humour.

LOL! Yeah graphics and sound… I picked a genre I was hopeful I could complete. I write much faster than I draw.

I’ve encountered some strange “stuck” type bugs a few times but haven’t been able to pin them down. If you can remember any details about where in the arcade you were I’d love to hear more.

I know some of my word choices were obscure. I will definitely keep accessibility in mind for future versions.

Thanks for the feedback!
