Nice one. Love the graphics Sound fits perfectly. It's easy enough to get started and has this grindy thing to it that kept me going. Good Job

Theme interpretation
We took the theme literally, our game involves shooting a spaceship out of a cannon to try to hit the moon.

Wow, loved that game, I've been playing for... hours? I don't know. I reached the ruby asteroids but fools gold raises the difficulty a lot. Nice game design, graphics fit very well and sound is great. First it was hard to hit any asteroid, but late in the game the harder is not to hit any of the lower layers before getting where you want. Congrats on a great game ;)
What do you mean I can't have 2x big bertha?
The cannon moves in a funny way. It's quite an enjoyable mix, mining gets quite repetitive though. The fools gold is very annoying, because the detector gives just a slight glow and instead of mining I need to keep staring at the screen and wonder if it's safe to mine or not.
It's also quite annoying when I hit the lowest asteroid just after launching and there's no way to avoid this.
Heh- I liked the conceit and the clever mix between launcher-lander mechanics and strategy building game.
The earth model was super cool looking! Progression felt kinda slow in the game. Having to use fuel throughout multiple runs was pretty interesting! Good job!
Wow, absolutely incredible game! I played for what felt like hours trying to get to the moon but ran out of fuel in the end haha. Oh well, I really enjoyed it. The progression is really well balanced and well planned.
A couple of points of critique:
- The build UI in the shop could use some work, it's very bare-bones and a little hard on the eyes. Maybe you could give it the same kind of treatment as the rest of the shop, that part looks very nice.
- Late game, the lower altitude asteroids become a real problem. It's very hard to dodge them even with the radar because you're going so fast. I had 3 of the quantum propellor things and the asteroid radar and still kept running into the lower asteroids, which cost me a lot of fuel and ultimately caused me to run out of fuel and lose.
- To add to the previous point, it would be nice to have an option to leave an asteroid early instead of having to wait for your battery to run out. Late game I was stacked on batteries and every time I accidentally landed on a lower asteroid I didn't want to mine so I just sat there and let the battery run out (which took forever haha)
- Make the game loop just a little bit shorter maybe. I was really sad when I ran out of fuel because I felt like all my work had gone to waste. If the full loop was about 15-20 minutes I would have tried again but it takes too long to go through a full game
Overall really great game, 5/5 from me. Hope you keep working on it and add more polish!
Good Concept! It took me a while to understand all the mechanics, but once I understood them all, I really enjoyed the game. Nice one!
I like the space mining concept, and you've added a lot of stuff to the shop which is impressive. The space flight was difficult to get used to, but maybe that's just me.
