Oh wow, where do I start with this... First of all, even from the beginning with the setup for the game it was an experience! I loved every second of this game. Fantastic job guys, art, sound and coding all around 5 stars. Would love to get in touch and talk about our game jam experiences and hear more about your vision for this game honestly, if you're up for it- this game really is epic!

The game features a day/night cycle system. You start at dawn and once you reach midnight you are brought back to the start of the level. Still, the most interesting and rewarding part of the game, which is your balloon, is hard to reach in a full day. It pushes the player to plan and learn the level to get to the balloon and take off before it's too late to enjoy a long and peaceful flight.
Also, the short "story" of the game is centered around the survival of the space dream after civilization collapse.

Beautiful game, took some time to get use to the jumping but once I had got the hang of it it was a very enjoyable game!
Very nice and cohesive pixel art! Great work, I always enjoy some platforming. We made our game a platformer too! (But also a shooter :P)
The game is really beautiful, the pixel art was fantastic! The music choice fit incredibly well. I unfortunately got stuck talking to the old lady and couldn’t manuever myself out. Sometimes interacting with the layers was a little bit tricky, but I got used to it in the end. The day/night cycle was a cool thing to see in the game!
that's a really nice entry, I would love to play more time, with more places to explore. the only thing that bothers me is the length of the intro, I would really prefer it if this information was already spread out in the game. other than that, it's incredible. one of my favorites so far
Really well curated and beautiful. I feel the controls a little uncomfortable and hard to use, but all the work on the game is awesome!
The art is great. In the beginning I was a bit confused by the layers, but it was cool later on.
I love the pixel art and the choice of classical music works.
If you like platformers, please try our game.
Loved the intro and loading screens! Game play was nice, I enjoy this a lot. Amazing job!
The game had a very calming feeling to it which I enjoyed. I did like trying to traverse the terrain with the layered levels. Pretty cool. I do wish the intro was shorter. I also didn’t read far enough ahead and got caught by the farmer bug unfortunately. The graphics were extremely nice. I didn’t finish it but I did enjoy the story elements to it. Overall nice game. Good work!
I enjoyed it, though I didn't read far enough ahead and the farmer bug caught me! I loved the intro with the Obama speech and the clouds, and the setting which you came up with for your game.
A bit more off topic, this also makes me a bit curious about the Godot engine. ^^
I love it, but had an idea for the intro.
If you played the obama speech over top of the gameplay climbing out of the beginning part, and had the credits show in the corner of the screen, you could kill all of that with one stone.
You could then hide those cool pictures around in the level as secrets, and even have the little bits of lore discoverable vs. being fed as explicit narrative at the beginning.
Really liked it. I hate voting up on a game with more votes than mine, but I have to, it's good work. your pixel art is great. I loved how the UI elements followed the cursor. Keep up the great work.
Interesting game! I must say that the intro was a bit long and I wanted to skip at some point to get into the game!
