This is a really good game!

I really like the audiovisual side of this game; the combination of pixelart graphics, with a calm music playing in the background, creates an image of a cute platform game, which in my opinion, works great!

The game mechanics, controls, and levels design, are also very well done. Perhaps the game mechanics aren't too innovative, because they are similar to those in Braid, but still, they have been implemented well, are easy to understand, and using the time leaps feels great! Levels themselves, aren't too hard nor easy, and mostly require good timing rather than a good tactic. There were few places where I got stuck for a short bit though, but solving these issues felt satisfying.

The only issue I had with this game, is that it's a bit too short. After some level, the game putted me into main menu, and choosing the continue option, sent me back to that level. Levels are fine, but there could be more of them

All in all, this is a very well made game, that looks, sounds, and plays great!

Thank you so much! I'm glad that you like our game! And yep, we will definitely make more levels after the jam!

Kinda like braid, but very challenging right from level 2. Frustrating that I couldn’t make it past there.

Everything looks nice, and it plays well.

Thank you :)

I wish I could beat entire game, but after getting to last part of level 2 several times and dying on the stickies I just ragequited :P

Gameplay:

It's a great mechanic, puzzles are interesting and movement is really good, but there need to be some kind of a checkpoint system, because some people will just ragequit on that game like me :P

Audio:

Music really fits and is calming. Sounds are also well made, but they were a bit too loud for me (just my personal preference).

Graphics:

I'm honestly in love with the font you picked, it's amazing. Sprites are well made, but I couldn't feel that everything was a whole. It's good to choose a color pallet (https://color.adobe.com/pl/create) for your game and try to paint everything with chosen colors, same for style you follow. Then your game would look like a whole ;) Take HyperLight Drifter as an example, it uses only several colors, but it gives the game a lot of life and make everything easy to understand.

Innovation:

The mechanic is really creative and it's totally different from Braid one, so I really respect it ;) Tho game is really brutal considering that many of 'Me' from the past died for my sake.

Theme:

I certainly can see the leap reference, however I got a bit of a problem with bounds. I know that there are platforms/walls that block us, but it isn't enough for me xD

Overally a great game and good job for a week work ;)

Wow, thank you so much for such a detailed review! I'm glad that you liked my game and your suggestions are really useful :) The second level is indeed a little hard... My design intention is to ask player to push the former self to the spike at the bottom to pass the level. I should have given some hints there...

Cool little mechanic and a really solid platformer. Good job!

Hi, I played the game and this is my review of it. Let's start off by saying that the level design is the best I've seen. The art is very well chosen and the music is fitting to the game. The core mechanic is impressive and the idea is really cool. This game doesn't seem to have any gameplay issues. How many levels are there? I ask because i rage quit after getting through half of the second level and then dying.. lol. All and all this is one of my favourites and a very good entry. Well done.

Thank you so much! Maybe the second level is a little too hard... My design intention is to ask player to push the former self to the spike at the bottom to pass the level. I should have add a hint there...

Very innovative. I liked the concept! Will you flesh this out a bit more later?

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, definitely, we will make more levels, make some boss fights and refine our arts after the jam :)

Beat the game ;] Had a really good time but man did I have a hard time with the second(?) level. My dead selves kept drifting for some reason in the pit and it made it difficult to survive. I think the character is super cute  and the time leaps feel super good. I would love to see where this goes if you continue with it especially with the really interesting things that can happen with items like the kiwi.

Thank you! Glad you have fun with our game XD. There may be some bugs behind the logic of the corpse... I'm looking into it.

Wow, really well done! The time leaps feel so great and the transition is just amazing.
