Not bad, however there are some collision bugs. Whenever I touched something I kept setting stuck, which is pretty frustrating. The graphics look nice and the sound is pretty good.

Neat start, but as others have mentioned there were a number of collision issues. I kept getting stuck on trees, and couldn't chop them down to be able to move because I also had full inventory on wood. I'd recommend at the very least changing the collider for wood to be a trigger instead, so it doesn't block the player in, but if you can definitely adjust the collider on trees too so it's more easy to move between them.
good game but the collisions in the game make it so I cant walk anywhere that's the only problem with this game I rate it 6/10
Nice game and very appreciable graphics..
but due to some bugs I was unable to have the full experience...
I was pretty confused on what to do. The collision kept getting me stuck and I had to restart at one point cause I tree spawned inside of me. lol
The little tips that popup where behind all the trees that kept spawning so that didn't help me understand what I needed to do... :(
But pretty cool otherwise!
Sorry to hear that :( . Yes you're right it have lots of collision issue , i was trying a different way of doing collision so it's get messy as i develop further. The code line for tree spawner on not to spawn on top of character was by mistake commented out (turned off) some how. Those tips were the tutorial system, it's also experimental. It's a goal based game goal comes top of the screen.
Thanks for the feedback. will work on the collision, as well as on tutorial system. Thanks for playing. ☺
You did well with the theme, the graphics and the visual wind effects (the poison animation for my taste is doing a little too much fuzz). With more time and care, this can be developed into a cozy collect & craft & build game. The others already mentioned the "construction places" - nothing to add here. In your screenshots I can see some houses, but somehow I didn't get to this point. I was collecting a lot of wood, but it capped at 12 pieces - and from there, I landed somehow in a dead end. What's the next step? What have I missed?
it's a mission based game. it's popping on the top of the screen once you finished one task or after certain amount of time it will popup. you may follow that, i tried to tell the story why we are gathering through the gameplay. and the main gathering you have to do in that house. Thanks for playing, i will encourage to play it again.☺
Frankly leaves a lousy first impression, but I kinda dug it once I understood it better. This game is severely unpolished with weird sprite layering, a lot of collision issues, and a pretty flat presentation, but to its credit the gameplay loop of having to gather wood while keeping your stamina up with fruits from trees did get me hooked enough to see it through to the end. I just wish the fruits didn't seem to completely vanish halfway through.
I really like the graphics and the overall feeling you get when playing, but you've got a lot to fix. Too many times I got stuck somewhere because the collision system wouldn't let me go. The z order of trees isn't always correct. The breaking/picking up mechanic is a bit wonky, but it does the job. Overall, I like where you're going with this game, but please give it the attention it needs. If you need any help, you can find me in the jam's discord server with the same name as here. Good luck with your game dev journey and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
