I decided to get into game development over 5 years ago, but kept getting frustrated and quitting before I could ever make something I was proud of or enjoyed. I started working on this game a little over a month ago and just recently finished! It is basic, but I am proud of it and would love to submit it to this game jam as I finally finished it!! I hope anyone that plays it enjoys it.

Great background story :) I’d expect less laggy controls from an endless runner, maybe the “traditional approach” of switching lanes would be better? It would also allow easily porting for mobile platforms where such game is more demanded than on PC. Also High Score didn’t save for me for some reason. Overall - it’s quite fun! I love cat’s animations.

I got 1978.

The music is really chill and it's easy to get into that flow. The animations and models are really good.

The background could do with something a bit more visually interesting but it's minimal which helps.
