This game was just something I put together in a few days because I got bored and decided to make a game that has my school in it.

Just updated the game so that the music is not trash. Thanks to  suitntie22.

Really interesting little game! Loved the GB aesthetic, though the main tune on the overworld was a bit ear splitting.

It's like looking into a time rift from the late 80's... Very nice retro gameboy aesthetics!!! However, the chiptune sound efx are eardrum piercing, forcing me to mute the overworld music while playing. Other than that, a nice trip down memory lane... fix the sound volume and you got a winner IMO. Nice app!  ^ ^

Overall I think the mood and visuals are very cool. I wish the controls were a little more clear as well, however, and with headphones the soundtrack was very abrasive, even at half volume.

very sweet game! the graphics are gorgeous and very nostalgic, but the game is a bit buggy - multiple times it froze and I had to reload, and the keyboard controls could have been clearer. also I think I somehow glitched into an area I wasn't supposed to access?

This is a common glitch in GB Studio called start warping, if any frame discrepancies happen, it can warp you to a different area. This seems relatively harmless, but it has been know to delete saves under extreme use. There is currently no fix and the engine is too unstable to make it any less harmless.
