Hypnotizing little microgame. Almost like a subtle ASMR rhythm game.

Thank you so much for playing and telling us what you think about the game. We hoped that the sounds would make the environment more intense and interesting for players, and that they would feel rewarded by hitting the keys correctly.

Interesting concept but it got quite tedious, I could see variation and challenge being added pretty easily though, see GIRP by Bennet Foddy for inspiration. It's a similar concept that uses your full keyboard to climb.

Animation and art was cool, it would be interesting to see it expanded with more weather effects as you got higher.

Thanks for your review.

Yeah... we didn't know exactly what to do and how to do it, we chose to use Godot for the first time and had to figure out how to do what we were thinking along the way.

The initial idea was that there would be several challenges the higher it was and that maybe the tower would be an exact size like in the movie. (using a subset of keyboard keys). But our inexperience with Godot and in game development in general weighed heavily and we had to simplify as much as possible, so we couldn't get a satisfactory result to keep players engaged and offer more fun.

I've seen the game GIRP and I'm trying to figure out how to make animation with the rigged bones to use with Godot and maybe try to do something similar.
