Nice job with the procedural world generation. The controls are responsive and the UI is perfectly clear.
Growing your own enemies was a little unexpected, but why not?
Also, nice job incorporating couch co-op! Only a few of us did that. ;)
I'm not sure if you included sound and music in the game, but if you did, it wasn't playing for me. That would have really helped with immersion.
This is a fun little game! I think it would be really improved with the ghosts having animations, or show the range they can hit you from similar to how you show the swing of the weapon. I agree that having remapping of keybinds would be very helpful and easy enough to implement. Way to go!
Love the look and style!
It's a fun little game, but a bit awkward to hit the Q while moving.
This looks super solid!! Nice entry :)
I found one bug where walking diagonally made me continue to walk forever without any input. Wasn't sure if that's my error or not.
Attacking with Q didn't feel intuitive- I was trying with my mouse at first and couldn't get it to work, then I noticed the controls up top! (Nice touch!) When attacking with Q and trying to use A at the same time to move, it feels clunky and hard to control at times.
But Couch Co-op for the win! So in that case I can see why Q would be the attack button when sharing a keyboard.
Can agree about controls, I did not spend much time to find more elegant solution, thanks for the feedback!
Oh man I really wanted to make a couch-coop game, so cool you did it! I get hard Realm of the Mad God vibes and I love it. I wish I had friends to play it together :(
Here's a list of things that kind of bothered me :/
Also I had one bug: during a night, the screen went pitch black at around 4 am. Had to restart. Other than that, it works pretty smoothly.
Overall cool idea! Farming monsters definitely a nice twist to the farming-game game.
Thanks, really useful feedback!
I was wondering about the grinding part as I did not have time to play-test this myself and had no feedback, tho I had suspicion it could be too hard for such simple game, so thanks, this confirms it! :D
Movement was made diagonally to be same speed as an L on purpose, so you dont move faster diagonally. but I guess it only makes sense in isometric games.
About dead enemies attacking, that's a weird one as I cant think of explanation of this and did not encounter it myself. Would be nice to see a screenshot or video.
I think the L thing is really bothering haha! Usually, we use a normalised vector to avois going faster. Dividing it by 2 is a whole other level ^^'
The enemies often attack during their death animation, while they fade away.
Gotcha, thanks!

Hey! Nice game! We played it with two people. We weren't so sure of what the e and r buttons spawned though. It also seemed we could not choose some combinations of controls / characters between the two of us.
Thanks! With those keys you can plant saplings after you pick them up.
Agree about character/controls combination, I just couldn't figure out elegant solution with that UI there.
