Run in the right hands, this is a delightfully spooky game that feels dangerous without being overtly punishing.
Character creation is fast and evocative, and the mechanics are simple but present enough that you feel their effects with each challenge you face, and losing matches either to failure or usage ups the stakes the further you go, providing a wonderful sense of tension.
It's good stuff-- and succeeding (as we did in our playthrough) feels very rewarding after a long, dark dungeon crawl.
