Please briefly explain how you interpreted some aspects of the game design document when creating your game!
I took quite a literal stance and actually used some of the emojis in the document.

After leaving this comment in the forum "The title has to include something about sunsets and waves but the key features need to include a ball dancer and a burger, what?" I actually thought that this could actually be a fun challenge.

Some of these were initial thoughts, some of them happened over time.

Title: 🌅,
Summary: ⌚ (time element involved)
Key features: 💃 🍔
Target audience: (crazy selfie posers!)
Gameplay/mechanics: 📷
Narrative & character: 👩 📷
Audio: 🎺 💫 (these aren't the most common however)
Other considerations: 🍆 (last minute addition for a health bonus! 😉 )

Great use of the design document, my best score was 1001.

the risk/reward of holding a selfie pose is perfect. it's simple, it's easy to understand, and it provides constant meaningful choices. it's also exciting when you get lucky and no food falls on you for a while! 5/5 game design! (also, it's amazing what the addition of music does to a game! my entry lacks music...)

Thank you for your kind words :)

Very polished and with a fun mechanic/concept.

My only nitpick: since the other assets are so clean, I wouldn't have used a pixellated background . But overall, great style!

Thanks! Yes that's a fair comment. :)
