In 2025, the TTRPG Embers of Humanity launched into the world making the kind of splash that many TTRPGS do. That is, not a lot. The thing is though, it's quite fun. And there's enough of us that really enjoy playing. So despite it never reaching the dizzying heights of success that some games do, a vast swathe of authors have continued tweaking and testing and playing and designing. We love this Weird take on the apocalypse and what comes next.

Throughout May, Memories of Sunshine are running a 1-page jam for our TTRPG Embers of Humanity. The jam runs until the 31st May 23:59.
We invite writers, creators, and artists to create setting or a scenario in 1-page for our post-apocalyptic TTRPG. Signing up and committing to enter nets creators a free copy of the pdf and a wee asset pack. The entry must be either A4 or standard letter and the font at least 10 point.
Grand prize: $50 and huge respect. Chosen by the staff of Memories of Sunshine. We’ll be looking for the 1-page that is most useful at the table. We want something we can use.
Other Prizes:
Best Design - Chaosium -Chaosium store credit $50
Best Prose - Miskatonic Playhouse - (Print booklet of From the Library of the Playhouse)

Embers of Humanity is a community-focused hope-filled TTRPG about the end of the world. Play revolves around a small group of survivors who take charge of a settlement. These survivors head out into what’s left of the world in order to keep their community afloat. They may be gathering supplies, negotiating with others, battling against raiders or desperately trying to survive the deadly forces of nature.
At the end of each session, the survivors return to their settlement. The choices they made influence the settlement’s growth. Will they build a thriving town or become just one more group of raiders, scavenging amongst the ruins of civilisation?
