Most generative AI is built on the systematic (and legally questionable) theft of millions of hours of work done by real creatives. As such, we were disheartened to see the Global Game Jam yet again take sponsorship from a dodgy company attempting to push their business built on plagiarism to jammers. This year the Edinburgh site decided enough is enough, and have asked all our jammers to boycott submitting on the GGJ site. As we still want to celebrate the work of all the creative people who joined us, we're asking them to submit here instead!
