I very much enjoyed the mechanic, and also the feel and sound effects. It felt surprisingly short, even after a couple of playthroughs, but I don’t know if I just missed a lot of options.

Hey ! Thank you for playing. It is indeed short as it was written in less than four hours, but a point of rule forbid me to compete in « la petite mort » : the added translation time from french to english puts this game in the « grand guignol » category. It seems absurd to me but I dont make the rule !

Have a nice day 🌱

I like the way the eye follows the cursor around the screen. Really adds to the creepy vibe. The way the game is set out to allow the creature to interact with the surroundings is interesting.

This was so effective at conveying an eerie mood! I really liked the exploratory quality of trying out different actions with what was available in the scene, and the subtle changes in the way the creature interacts with the world across the story. Not sure if this is the case, but it gives a sense that if I had used different actions the story might turn out differently.

I really enjoyed this! The setting is intriguing, and the situational nature of the verbs is an unusual way to do a parser/choice hybrid game that makes it feel like it has a good variety of verbs while limiting combinatorial explosion. I also like how ambiguous some of the verbs are; it leads to some surprising moments as the player experiments with them.
