It has been suggested that this jam is too OP in terms of creative freedom.

I respectfully disagree.

The point of this jam is not to force an idea by telling you what you can/cannot or must/mustn't do, but to act more like a writing prompt -- to allow you to create something on a theme that you may not otherwise have pursued, using whatever tools you have available, and providing you with a deadline to come up with a prototype.

What do you think? Should there be some specific requirements for entries? I am open to suggestions.

I forgot to add this rule: All game assets must be original and must be made during the jam.

You retain ownership of your games and assets.

Wait, so I can't use public domain models?

Like, I'm not an artist of any variety, I will spend the entire three weeks doing nothing but shoving pixels around in blender getting nothing accomplished

Question: can I submit a game to two jams? Specifically, I submited my game to  https://itch.io/jam/my-first-game-jam-summer-2017, which had the same theme as this one ("Dreams"). Given that MFGJ started and ended while this one was running, technically it should be fine. What do you think? Thanks!

I sent it just in case it's fine. If it's not, I'll remove it later :)
