Lost episodes of TV shows, films that have never seen the light of day, home movies featuring something not right. We record anything and everything in our very connected world, but some footage isn't fit for mass consumption. We want you to find that footage. We want you to dig into your mind and find something that no one was ever meant to see. Find the black spine VHS tape sitting in a locked cabinet in a TV station. Find an unlabeled DVD at a garage sale. Find those things and bring them to light.

The jam starts April 1st, and runs until April 8. There is a strict deadline on this one, and you'll have 7 days to bring your vision of terror to life.

The rules are simple: Make a found footage horror game. It can have a VHS aesthetic, a DVD aesthetic, so on and so forth. Make it fun, make it scary, make it memorable.

Judges will play your game, check how well it adheres to our judging criteria, and leave you with a score. The top-scoring games will receive a prize of our choosing. NOTE: Some prize fulfillment will require a delivery address and name. If you aren't comfortable with that, please let us know so that in the event of you winning, we can work out an alternate prize.

We've made a place for you to come and talk about The DreadXP Found Footage jam on our Discord. Come talk with other jammers, connect with help, and make the best game you can! https://discord.gg/AUxadtP9wm
