A good synergy can achieve dreams ^^

Really a good game! Really impressive for the short amount of time. I am not really sure If specific cards/units counter specific enemy units. But I tried my best to figure out the logic behind the game.
Had definitely fun with it. Good Job!

Developer

thanks!!!! glad you liked, we are doing our best working on a update !!!

Really impressive game, considering the time frame as well! The camera movement was great and the game felt smooth. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Glad you liked it! :)

I liked the art style, music, sounds, but I am really struggling to figure out what the cards do and how it fits the theme. I feel like it is pretty important for any strategy game to let the player know what the rules are instead of just telling us to "figure it out", which made this a bit frustrating.

Developer(+1)

Hello! We try to use the expression "Inside out", like you manage to understand something inside out. So we gave the player 0 info in what to do, and the only way to learn is by playing the game and trying again and again.  I know some things aren't clear enough by just playing, but we really have the time to test everything or balance everything we want to fix it once the game jam finishes. But I'm glad you at least you liked the art in the game and the music, we put a ton of effort into it.  Thank you for your comment :)

pretty fun, i dig the idea and hope it develops further

Developer

Thank you! :)

Really impressive taht you managed to put in a week a game looking a lot like Inscryption! I have to admit I didn't understand what I was doing even after winning, I just placed cards when I could and couldn't understand the rules of the game apart from "cards cost energy, you need to capture tiles". Then I hurr-durred my way to victory :')

I'd love to see you push the game further after this jam

Developer

Thanks for playing! And yeah, we definitely could have made the rules more understandable, will do exactly that for a new update!

(+4)

I love me some card game the idea is pretty straight foward. Could really evolve into something if given more time, nice one

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yes, we are thinking of improving the game after the game jam is finished, so stay tuned! :)

(+4)

it still needs a lot of work imo, but the concept is cool as hell and it is kinda impressive for such a short period of time. i can clearly see that a story mode, more units and even multiplayer can be added with time!

Developer(+1)

Yes, with 7 days we really didn't have the time to add all we wanted or test everything, but it is part of the game jam experience. We are thinking to improve the game after the game jam! Thanks for your comment! :)

Submitted(+3)

Good Game! I remember about game same like this before.

Developer(+1)

Surely is the game Inscription, we took inspiration from there! Thank you! :)

Submitted(+3)

I've already rated the game before the Jam closed, I just wanted to say that I hope you continue this concept further, as it has lots of promise.
Best of lucks!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the double rating haha, also your feedback was really helpful, definitely gonna use that to improve the game!

Developer

Thank you very much!!! We talked a lot about the idea of continuing to work on the game and we want to fix a lot of things and we want to improve the experience!!!! We are going to name the team and we will try to make a twitter or some web page where we can present our devlogs. With time we will try to achieve something more like a well produced game. Thanks for the support it's appreciated. ^^

Congrats on delivering this game with this such an interesting concept. It took me a few games to figure out how to play ^^

It reminded me of Inscryption with this camera and perspective :)

Good job!

Developer(+2)

Thanks! And Yeah, the cameras were a tribute to inscryption! loved every second of the game and wanted to learn how they made the camera animations since they make the game feel so alive and fast-paced, love to see that it was worth learning!

Submitted(+3)

Cool game. Took awhile to figure out how to play. Good job!

Submitted(+3)

Fun game! Loved the camera movements, really brings the game to life!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, glad you liked the game!

Submitted(+4)

Super cool game! It had a bit of a learning curve for me to figure out how the game controls worked, and then I didn't really understand what each card did other than having certain placement requirements. This could definitely benefit from shorter rounds of slowly introducing cards, so you have a chance to learn what they do. It actually reminds me a lot of a game called Dungleon, which is a Wordle-like game where you have to put pieces in a specific order, and they each have different rule sets. But overall great work on this, I'd love to check it out again if it gets any updates!

Developer

Thank you very much for your words and glad you liked it! we are thinking about improving the game further with content and card balancing. fixing bugs and improving the experience continuously is what we are looking for, this gamejam let us start a project longer than just 1 week. C:

Good stuff, man!

Developer

Thank you!! Glad you liked it! :)

crazy this was made in a week or so of work, the flow of events and interactions is really polished. really like the 3D animations and the opponent's character model in particular. i liked the idea of learning your units inside and out directly through gameplay, but i could see that being too difficult as well, especially as you expand upon the concept and make more units. don't know if this is a real issue or not, but there was one opening turn where i couldn't play a card due to energy constraints and that felt weird

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you for your comment! We didn't have the time to fix everything, so sorry about that. But we hope you liked it :)

Submitted(+3)

This is a fantastic submission for a weeks worth of work. Basically made a pseudo hearthstone.
Love the 3D and little animations to make it feel lively.
Great Job!

Developer

LESGOO!! Glad you liked the game!! we put a lot of effort! thanks!!

Submitted(+4)

The animations are really nice, the game feels lively. But, i dont think I really did ever figure what each card does xD

Submitted(+5)

the visual style is really cool! nice little details on the game board, and the animated cards are very nice. I was confused by the gameplay, but now i see that figuring out what the cards do is the point. for the cards themselves, it would have been nice to have a number showing how many blue bars I need for them (the bars turning red to show their available didn't register with me until my second playthrough cuz im a dum dum). i wasn't sure why I lost at the end since neither of us got breached, but i still really enjoyed playing! good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the feedback, Hope you liked the music (=
