I find the game pretty hard, but in an "unfair" way. You don't see the ghost often until it's too late, and it's sometimes just impossible to avoid it. The game crashing whenver you die also makes it slightly annpoying i think, but i don't know if it's intended or not to crash.

Also i don't know if i died or it just crashed at some point i don't really get why since the ghost wasn't there.

Last negative point, i didn't really understant the theme implementation.

I gotta say i like the idea of the game tho!

The  crashing is intended the game is meant for you to always being a step ahead and memorizing the map it was the ghost that crashes the game.

My feedback for Alone in the Dark?:

What your game does well:

The jump height is characteristic of the outer space setting.

The player has a clear objective throughout the game.

What your game doesn't do well:

Your game doesn't teach the player the controls at any point. Any players who aren't familiar with WASD or Arrow Control schemes won't know what to do.

Your game doesn't incorporate the theme 'inside out'. The player actions, goal, and objects formulate a play experience where the player must simply collect all items in the area.

Areas of Opportunity:

If this game's interpretation of the theme is a reference to the fear emotion and the Disney film about emotions, I recommend going all in on selling the fear factor. Right now the player is in the dark with limited view being chased by ghosts. They have no form of navigation, but they can run really fast. What other elements can you add to the game to make it really scary?

On top of that, what are some ways you might be able to incorporate the theme into the player actions or goals? Perhaps the player's speed is regulated by a stamina meter; they'd have to preserve it otherwise the ghosts are faster than them

I hope this feedback helps!

i like the hand drawn aesthetics and funny audio noises! Also the intro is quite cool.

The game seems to crash when the ghost catches me? or is it just the end of the game?

This was an interesting game. I liked the atmosphere and sound effects. I found the game a little difficult, though. The game would also pause execution when I got hit by a ghost.

the game was meant for you to kinda memorize the map to beat it and it’s intended
