Neat arts and animation. The half of your Controls are well tweaked, but the vertical jump is so small. Some collision issue (but you know it).  The story looks promising and I would have liked to know if she/he still loves him !

I really liked the artwork for the character! I definitely think this game needed some checkpoints; Restarting on death is very punishing, especially considering the position of some of the roses. Forcing the player to get very close to spikes, or to double jump under wall where a mistake will cause them to reset the entire game is definitely not advised. I screwed up the double jump countless times by jumping too early and hitting the ceiling or losing all my momentum by touching the wall before my jump made it over. It's a bit awkward how some of the time you get stuck on the outside corners of tiles, while other times you don't. As a final note, there's no music and there's no background. Otherwise, the idea is pretty cool and I love the story! Once again, the character artwork and animations are phenomenal. The game just has a few rough parts to fix. Nice entry!

I think the most important thing for a platformer is tight controls and for the movement to feel responsive and clean, and your game had that, the only weird thing is that some platforms you cant walk off of and others you can, but otherwise was fun

Thanks a lot :)

Sadly I messed up the conversion of one of the tiles, the artists made for the tileset.
The right outer corner is slightly bigger than the rest of the sprites, which messed up the meshcollider, sorry about that :/

Nice, though had some issues with getting stuck on walls when jumping too near to them from the ground.

Thanks for Playing!

Yeah, I found that issue aswell later :/ I think it has something to do with my collision detection.

very nice game, but lacks audio

Developer

Thanks, for playing our game :)

Yeah, sadly we massively overscoped and at the end there was barely time for anything :/

Audio was one of the things we had to scrap.
