So I just finished binging this and the prequel game and I gotta say I am in love with this story! I wanna quickly say that you totally nailed the emotional state of a transfem in the egg cracking phase, and the coming out anxiety phase. Both of those moments hit very close to home to me, as someone who just went through both of those things in the past year or so. There's a few lines in there, like the part where Sol's internal monologue says something to the effect of her "expecting someone to jump out at any second and tell her to leave" when she's shopping for a dress in the mall. There's also the little part where she knows she didn't wanna share a dorm with a bunch of guys, but she didn't know why she felt that way. Subtle stuff like that is what makes this story so real, and I love it.
I also really love the chemistry between the main trio. I think Bill turning out to be a cool guy after our initial distain for him from the prequel game and his intro in this one teaches a very nice lesson about giving people a chance, and I think his dynamic with Sol and Chet is splendid.
I also loved the symbolism of Chet quitting soccer (or as he puts it "deciding to stop playing with balls") the same day that Sol comes out as trans. The symbolic act of giving up balls (a symbol commonly associated with masculinity even though many women have them) right as his partner finally decides to embrace her womanhood beautifully wraps up their arcs in a spectacularly satisfying way...
I'm kiddinggg- I seriously doubt that was legit what you were trying to communicate with that "symbolism"... Unless-
Seriously though, these games are excellent and I'm really excited to play through the 3rd one tomorrow.
