Cutscenes in a jam, now this is amazing.

I wish I could keep the big red sword. These adventurers man.

I loved the low-poly style. Always works really well, particularly for a project like this. The fact that the humans take your weapons is a pretty great feature, and the writing is really engaging. I love that you play as an orc rather than your stereotypical human dungeon-delver. It's an angle that could afford to be explored a lot more for sure, and it's fun that you did so here!

Great job all round - really good game!!

Absolutely loved this, Well done. the idea of having people treat you like a pet to get what they want is absolutely hilarious. Well Done!

Enjoyed the humor a lot, used my imagination for the last cutscene :]

Damn those adventures for stealing all my loot!

Omg, a cutscene? That was fantastic! The graphics were stunning, the sound design was solid. Overall, I pretty much liked it!

I sure can use my imagination. The game is not super long but I really like that there's already a bit of everything here, a narrative, combat, puzzles, basic equipment. How you executed the theme is pretty cool, you're not just playing as an orc fighting against adventurers but instead they take the good weapons, they bother you when you're dealing with pressure plates, these are actual gameplay element or at least close to, which make the thing much more fun and funnier. Nice piece of work.

Fantastic little intro cinematic! Poor Gary… Poor Deloris…

Also, excellent use of this asset pack, I love the low poly stuff <3

A nice little progression through the dungeon collecting better weapons and the dialog made me laugh all the way through.

Short, sweet, and enjoyable!

Great job!

Thanks! That was my first attempt at a cinematic (Timelines in Unity). It was fun to learn how to do them via the jam. I love the POLYGON packs too. I've had them for a couple years, got them for like 75% off in an Asset Store sale, but never had a good project to use them on until now.

Nice game with funny moments and dialogue! When my first piece of OP loot got stolen, part of me felt frustrated, so well done!

Sometimes items were hard to pick up if they were dropped on tiles with debris on them. And also some of the adventuring guys were floating. But those were all minor issues. Other than that, I had a great experience playing through it :D

I really enjoyed the game. I felt that the overall game was very good. I especially liked the feeling of frustration at the high-powered items being taken from you after that small window of excitement!  I was also impressed that you managed to get a cutscene in a game jam game.

I liked it, it was an enjoyable experience. I enjoyed the humor and combat felt good. I was having an issue with starting a new game it seemed to take my health from the previous run and apply it to my new character. It just meant that I had to go straight to the save spot to restore my health so I was still able to finish but thought that you should know.

Thanks for playing! Yes, we noticed that health bug too after we published. It's already fixed and ready to push after the jam voting.

Excellent. We managed to finish the game, but we did die a few times. The checkpoints helped massively, although on one reload we couldn't pickup some items, not sure why. Humour was good, great cinematic intro to the game, it really set the tone well. The dialog was very good in that you have a digestible amount of text each time. It's easy to glaze over when you see more than a single paragraph. The UI was very clean and the fonts were great and fit well. The enemy animations were perfect and we loved the character images changing as the dialog or combat played out. The lighting was ok but could have done with some ambient occlusion or similar, although you run the risk of it not running in WebGL if you do. The sparkles on the chest and pickups were great and fit the graphical theme. We did encounter a bug where we managed to get outside of the map:

Very well done. That might be the best game we've played so far in the jam. You're sure to do well in the ratings.

It nice idea to make a game opposite to "escort and save someone". it's a fun to play.

I really enjoyed this. Nice, casual, story-driven game that is fun and entertaining. Loved having the NPCs follow me round and even getting involved in the last puzzle!

The character dialog goes a long way. Had a clear reason reason for being there and a clear goal which is a sentiment often overlooked in a jam. Only complaints are that it's a bit quiet and at some point the rogue started started walking on air.

It was a fun experience, but the audio ended after like 2 minutes and the rest of the game was just silent steps.
