I managed to escape pretty fast!
Character designs were quite something indeed! Loved the sounds of dices and everything. Movement was a bit confusing at first - felt like I am glitched to one spot.. not sure what was making that feeling for me, since usually instant movements are quite fine. Something with texture blinking, maybe.
Overall - quite a solid experience, maybe took a while for me to understand how UI worked, but after it was quite clear what to do!
thanks for playing, the encounter rate is unfortunately way too random.
I'm finally free!
I really like literal body and mind as your interpretation of the theme, that's super cool, and I also like that their abilities are really asymetric. The player's characters as well as the enemies look pretty good, movement looks a bit weird but it's fast which is the most important about it to me, and combat is fun, combat with visible dice rolling can't be not fun anyway.
The game is cool.
It’s cool that you finished it!
The sprite art was fantastic! It gave me SMT vibes. I love the idea of a dice battler, but I had a bit of trouble figuring out what was good and what was bad at first. I think a little tutorial or some clearer UI info would really help guide the player.
Yeah, I think a tutorial would be a really good idea.
I love the sprite design and noise effect added. Very well made. Interesting implementing of the theme here. First time it was hard to understand the mechanics of the fight but in the second run i got it. Smooth movement would make the game even more visual pleasing, because sometimes its hard to notice if you are moving forward.
Thank you so much for playing! it’s kinda funny what I miss implementing. I actually had the smooth movement all coded I just had to create a slider.
Fun game! I felt like I was walking around for a long time and waiting to be instakilled though. But good job!
Hey, thanks so much for playing! Yeah sorry about the instakills, Finished in the nick of time and didn’t have time to figure out the right stat balance.
So I like the look and sound of this one.
But it put in the middle of something, and I struggled a moment to figure out how combat works.
I was, after all, presented with three percentage bars without enough context for me to understand that (if I guess right) the one on top is the enemy, the one on the bottom left is my brain, and the one on the bottom right is my hp.
Still not entirely sure how I get instakilled, but more polish to the game would probably contextualize that better.
Yeah, The artist and musician killed it on this one. Thanks so much for playing!
