I feel like the movement adds a bit more skill required to the game as you have to learn to control your momentum, and I hope it leaves the door open for other devs to experiment with different visual styles or control schemes. Even if you don't know how to use GDevelop, I recommend taking a look at it, since it is free. My code is always filled with comments, so you can take your time understanding how it works.

I managed to only clear 5 levels, the movement makes 10x harder. I would work on it if I knew how to use the game engine.
GDevelop is nocode its really easy. Take a look at thier online version to get a glance.
