Do you like cute things? Do you also like horror? Would you like to make a game based around those two things? Great since you've come to the right place! Cute yet Creepy Jam is all about making a cute horror game in a month.

Whether you enjoy making cute stuff or creepy stuff it doesn't matter. Everyone is allowed to join this jam from beginners to those with more experience in game development.

• Your game has to have both horror elements and cute elements. You cannot just make a horror game without cute elements or vice versa.
• You're free to use any engine you'd like.
• You're free to develop alone or with a team.
• Your game can be a demo or a full game.
• Only use assets that you have created or have permission to use.
• Your game must be developed during the jam.  You can plan things before the jam starts but actual development needs to be done during the jam.
• The game should be playable on Windows.
• No games with sexual content.
• You're free to create as many games as you like for the jam as long as they all have been developed during the jam.
• Be nice to others participating and have fun!

We have an optional theme for this jam for those who want to have a small idea of where to start. You're free to use the theme in any way you'd like.

Games will be rated according to the following categories.

Cuteness - How cute was the game?

Horror - How scary was the game in general? How well did it execute its horror elements?

Creativity - How creative was the game with its horror elements? Especially when the cute elements were mixed in or vice versa? Are the horror/cute elements just slapped into the game without much thought or are they essential to make the game as good as it is?

Overall - How much did you enjoy the game?
