The player must find the key within the maze, hidden in one of the treasure boxes, to unlock the door and escape. Inside the maze, there is a murderer, and the player can eliminate them using a gun. However, if the murderer gets too close, the player will die instantly.
How did you use AI Navigation in the game?
I use NavMesh Surface to enable the Enemy to navigate within the maze. Additionally, I utilize NavMesh Agent to calculate and follow the path from the Enemy's position to the player.
Do you have any problem while developing?
1. During player testing, it was observed that there were areas in the map where the player could sink into the ground, and some sections had walls that allowed the player to walk out of bounds.
2. The enemy was able to pass through walls when encountering the player within a specified range, disregarding the presence of walls.
However, these issues have mostly been resolved, allowing for gameplay as intended.
What part about your game that you liked the most?
Adjusting lighting and adding effects within the game to enhance the realism of the visuals.
Did you enjoy developing this game?
Not enjoying it much, but it’s still better than making a 20-year-old robot walk according to commands.
