I enjoyed the mechanics and the gameplay was fun. I think there was a lot of power ups and I started to loose track of what they all did. I would suggest just having 2 attacks (one as the base attack and one power up when you MP bar filled) or have a short description / names and costs of the attacks on screen.
Didn't mind it being short, I loved that you got a lot of different attacks in with a working mana system, and working enemies. It was fun.

Really cool game! I feel excited every time I try a new ability and the effect is very epic.
I like the variety in abilities, and the graphics were nice. The controls also felt pretty good (other than the buttons chosen for the abilities, which was a bit difficult to use easily with the other abilities).
I tried to use the "5" ability, but it didn't do anything? I assume it hadn't been implemented yet? The other abilities were all interesting though.
If you hold down 5, your energy bar is drained and you regain life.
Great start to something cool. Everything seems to fit together really well, but the controls were really hard on me. My arrow keys aren't in the best place. But that beginning? Best intro of this game jam. As soon as I heard that retro zelda-style music I was hooked and completely engaged. Can't wait to see what this becomes.
