I'd love to see a devlog for this game, or an explanation in the game's description about how you managed everything in just three days. Did you get some stuff ready before the jam, or did you split up the work so you didn't need to use already made assets?

This one of the best game I've seen in this jam.
The mechanics are simple to understand, the art is beautiful, and the animation are amazing!
It was hard for me to understand in which part of the map I was, so a minimap or a popup each time I go into a new location could be good. One more thing was that it was hard to understand where to go in the dark.
Overall, this game is really amazing and super fun!
I can't believe what you all managed to pull off in only one weekend, this game is incredible in scope and production value! I had loads of fun playing through it. The main mechanics and animations were really well done and all felt solid, which is really important in this kind of platformer. There wasn't a huge amount of combat, less than I expected at least, but the exploration alone was really fun so it didn't matter too much. The only bit of the game that I personally had a lot of trouble with was the dark part. Maybe my monitor is quite dark, but I could barely see anything, which wasn't too fun! But aside from that I thoroughly enjoyed this game and I'm very impressed by the team behind it. I hope you all keep working on it, polishing it up even more, and publishing it somewhere! Thanks so much for participating in the jam!!
I could go on about pretty much every aspect of this game and how amazing it is, not even considering it was made in 3 days. your entire game is polished and brilliant, well done to the entire team!!
for my favourite aspects, i love the cute sound design and really appreciate the attention to detail. the little pumpkin walking on the saving popup, the run particles, the decor spread across each area, the intense drums fading in as you approach an enemy and slow if it hits you. i look forward to seeing updates for this game if they are planned!!!
in future, maybe some more differentiation between areas would be nice? they are all fun to play but feature the same assets ive played a bit more and this is not even true. one minor bug i have encountered is that i died in a different area (10 golden acorn gate) and respawned without the fog in the mangrove like area.
ill stop adding more to this and just enjoy the game, y'all are extremely talented and im excited to see what is next!

One question how did you get the game small enough to send because I worked with Unreal Engine before and the game file became too big
All the textures are 128p, 256p or 512p. All the models have less than 800 vertices. For example, the fox mesh has two texture maps, one for his head and one for his body. Both of them are 256p. The body texture is only 8kb because it's fully opaque. The head texture needed an alpha channel for the whiskers. So it's around 16kb. I think the Engine part of the packaged game only takes like 200mb of space.
