I think this is the first game I saw actual gameplay videos of in the Discord while the jam was running. You came up with this idea incredibly fast, and it was definitely a good bet, because it's a very clever and fun idea! Graphically the game looks nice, and I loved all the different animations. The colors are chosen nicely, and work well together with the theme. The levels feel varied and actually have some progression in them, which is definitely a plus in a jam game! Good job on this entry, and thanks for participating in the jam!
this is the best game I've played so far. The vibe is absolutely there and the game manages to keep itself fun with new mechanics long after I thought it would get boring. Also I really like the music. Did you write it yourself? Anyway, fantastic game
I expected an endless faller at first, but that’s not quite what this was, and I found myself getting addicted pretty quickly. Challenging, but fun to try to beat your previous time. I love the animations, especially the acorn planting and growing roots. My only gripe is that the music was a little repetitive and didn’t sound quite right.
that is true, the music does repeat... quite alot... the main "melody" is the exact same all the way through. although the harmony slightly changes in the last segment of the song. I also used beepbox and you can only have up to 8 diffrent "bits" on each instrument, which you can put it places in the music.
Thanks for the feedback tho :)
This was a very solid game with a unique concept! I really liked the art, but I'm not sure how well the music fits with the vibe you're going for. If you want maybe you can check out my game since I think the music I made fit pretty well : )
