Artistically, this game is awesome. I love the shaders. And the theme is also really fitting, both the "one room" theme and color palette! Kudos!
Some things I noticed that could be improved
- the web version doesn't work well with it, when you esc the mouse usally doesn't get back into the game and it'll stop at the borders
- sometimes there were missing keybounds on the UI (for example it took me a while to find out Enter was the button to start a game)
- would be cool to have some sort of overarching goal. Like if you finish a game something happens, it stops raining or sum. Just having a "win"-condition so that you can end the game without feeling like you have missed something ':D (I hope I didn't, I looked around everywhere for a few minutes)
It's a great submission for this game jam and I think hope you'll place well :)
That last idea is really good! A lot of people mention not being sure whether or not they had found every game, but I really like the idea of the rain stopping and maybe going to sleep.
Thanks for playing and leaving feed back, we'll definitely address all of it when we revisit this project!

I tried to play it many times, but it wouldn’t load on my browser, :/ maybe a mac thing. Shame, it looked fantastic!
That's such a shame, think it might be a mac thing as others have had issues with macs! -Mato
This is a very cool idea. I really like the art and the atmosphere. How did you achieve this retro look ?
I had quite some fun playing it, also i found a bug on Tung, where you just have to unfocus the game to score an infinite score while standing still, see screenshot below.
All in all this is a great work, keep it up !
the look was a lot easier than you would think! I used a shader in godot that locked the entire game to a color palette, and then from there it was a lot of playing with materials and lighting.
If you ever want the shader feel free to ask! I got it a while ago, and it’s one of my favorite tricks ;^)
Thanks for playing and reporting a bug!!
-Mopi
I would definitely be glad to get this shader ! I really want to learn and improve at making games, and shaders still appear as black magic to me x)

Heres the video I got the shader from years back! Its a bit tedious to put a palette in, but works like a charm when you do
Thanks a lot !
cool game! I love the colors of the game they look really nice and different and gives a cozy feeling, good job!
Thank you! - Mato
This was a very fun entry. I unfortunately kept losing the pumpkin cartridge even when I inspected it away from the bean bag. BUT... I did play the other two. :D
Thank you, glad you had fun. Sorry about the pumpkin bug haha. Which one did you prefer? The completely original Tong(tm) game or Spog? Had a lot of fun doing the covers for them and the title screens haha - Mato
Hands down Spog. Im not sure how I broke it, but I was racking up the point! I couldn't score a single point on Tong.
Definitely fits the cozy theme -super chill experience hunting for your hidden games and then being able to sit there and play them on the lil tv -really awesome! Love the art and the whole vibe -amazing work! :D
Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot! - Mato
Really loved how the lighting played with the colours and the one-room theme you completely nailed. The art is really cool, like the posters on the wall and the game screens themselves. Loved the way it wraps when you focus. Unfortunately I couldn't inspect the cart in the pumpkin and my TONG ball got stuck in the opponent :O But overall, a really creative entry. Well done!
Thank you, the posters took some time to do and the game screens. I'm glad taking the extra time to do them with a bit more polish. Glad you had fun, sorry about the bugs. Hopefully we'll get them squashed in a future version! Thank you for taking the time to check out our game! - Mato
Don't stress the bugs, you'll get them soon! It is a jam after all and it's clear a lot of work and creativity went into this project. Cheeky brother and his autumn pranks! :D
This is incredible! I love the creativity put into this, At first look I thought it was going to be a game that was only about looking around your room until I saw the TV asking to insert a cartridge. found 2 cartridges and I gotta say... I love how its basically just playing a game inside a game. The TV screen filter is awesome, I enjoyed destroying my room just to find some games, the lighting works really well and I enjoy how super cozy it is with the rain sounds playing in the background while the lamp gives off that feeling of warmth and comfort. It seems like the amount of effort that went into this is stupendous, hell, the jam's color pallet is even used in here. Only weird thing that occurred to me was that the (what I assume is the) last cartridge was stuck to an item when I found it and couldn't split them apart, even when restarting the game a few times.
Overall I love this game, it went the extra mile in many ways and Im blown away by it, tremendous job!
Thank you so much!! You would not believe the hours I spent tinkering with that lighting hoping I could make the room feel cozy :)
The last cartridge can be removed by examining the pumpkin then pressing 'E' when the prompt appears, but I admit it was a lot less intuitive than I had planned lol.
Really glad you had a good time!
-Mopi
The combination of colors is absolutely goregeous, the art style gives me a retro vibe. Unfortunetely, I couldn't figure out how to do anything (kept pressing E when the prompt showed up in front of the games, but nothing happened), but I surely enjoyed throwing stuff around in the room XD well done!
oh rats! I think being unable to interact with E is a new browser issue, hope I can fix it, thank you for enjoying your time none the less :)
-Mopi
Funny enough, I encountered this issue while playing the downloaded version. The browser didn't even load up my game, it just kept forever loading (Chrome) or crashed with the error "WebGL not available" (Opera). Maybe that's an issue with my browser or computer
that is both new and quite concerning! While I can’t even imagine why that happened now, it’s gonna be at the top of my list to fix for a full release :)
-Mopi
Very interesting graphics, I liked it
But I had problems with the game itself, unfortunately, I was very disappointed when the mouse cursor rested on the walls of the monitor and the camera did not move further, I would like this not to distract me from immersion
I also had a problem that the E button did not work when I wanted to interact with objects
All in all, a game with good potential!
Thank you for playing! The issue with the mouse cursor constantly drifting to the right was a browser export issue, and has to do with how browser handle mouse capturing. Hitting the fullscreen button fixes that (in my tests), but being unable to interact is a new bug :(
Browser exports can be fickle beasts, but thank you for playing and leaving a comment on what we can fix!
-Mopi
this game looks and feels so good, I'd love to buy the extended version on steam!
An extended version on steam, that's big praise. Thank you! That's very kind. Glad you enjoyed it! - Mato
Cool Concept ! Would have been nice to have more stuff to find in the room ;p
There was so much more I wanted to add but had to leave it on the cutting floor haha. Thank you, glad you enjoyed it - Mato
Oh I love the pixelated 3D! Looks incredible.
Thank you! - Mato
noice
Very cozy with the sound of the falling rain :)
Who doesn't love the sound of falling rain? :D - Mato
I didn't know what buttons to use to control the minigame at first, and so I was continually exiting and had to re-zoom and focus over and over again. But this is a cool game! I only found SPOG, and then saw the comments about 2 other games. I'll have to revisit and try to find them! Good job
Glad you enjoyed it, hoping to rework that we revisit it in the future! Thank you for the feedback -Mato
Well, I couldn't find the third game, but trashing the room was very enjoyable. :D Nice graphics, too.
Which two did you find? People seem to love trashing rooms haha. Thank you! - Mato
I found Pong, and the one in the pumpkin, although I encountered a slight bug with the second one, as the cartridge disappeared when I interacted with it. Or I might have just done something wrong. :D
I do wonder where the pumpkin cartridge goes, definitely needs an investigation after the jam. It could of been getting hidden in the bean bag. Sorry about that haha! Thank you for trying them out! - Mato
I loved this game so much the art was beautiful and the sound of the rain outside is a sound any1 could love.
Thank you for the very kind words. Was worth it to put that extra time into the art! I completely agree with you when it comes to rain. Used to listen to the rain with my dad when I was younger, always been such a nice calming experience for me. - Mato
Highly rated! Great art and design choices. I'm wondering what shaders or effects were used to get those graphics :0 Fits the use of the optional mechanic but lets you escape through the tv! The browser version struggled a bit especially during the mini games, the mini games would glitch out eventually. Not sure if that's intentional ha. Only thing I would suggest maybe a change to the controls; the mouse click, interact and extra controls for the games kept getting scrambled for me. Overall enjoyable experience and beautiful graphics
Thank you so much! I admit I may have been a bit TOO liberal with all those keyboard buttons I had...
But for the visuals, I just used a simple palette shader! It takes every value and locks it into the jams color palette :) if you're using godot, I could so share it!
-Mopi
Loved the art style - very unique and cozy. It was fun to find and play the games. I got to watch this one on stream so I saw their hiding spots ahead of time but still very enjoyable. Overall great submission!
Thank you, I was the one on stream. Thank you for taking the time to check our game out, I quite enjoyed your entry. You did a wonderful job! - Mato
