very cozy idea ^^ i liked it...  i think some music would had make it more peacefully

Developer

Honestly that is a great idea! but I don't know how to make music myself and I still need to find the courage to ask people to use their music :(

The description mentioned a procedurally generating landscape and I was so excited to explore but I couldn't move :/ I think UI is scaling a little funky, its really small and sometimes off-screen but I find Unity UI so hard to get right so totally get it. Game definitely fit but I do wish there was more of a gameplay element, like making marshmallows to order for your friends and you have to cook their marshmallow just how they like or something, and aesthetically I think it would be even cozier if you increased the environmental lighting a tiny bit with fireflies or something. Cool 3D assets though, I haven't gotten around to learning 3D yet so I gotta commend the 3D games when I see them. Great job, I hope you get time to check out my submission too

Developer

I greatly appreciate the feedback! I should have said procedurally generated "background" which is more descriptive of it's function. I wanted to learn how to use perlin noise to manipulate a mesh so that is why it is here. In terms of gameplay, I had ideas to rotate the stick so that one side of the marshmallow would roast at a time and based on how well you would cook it (not too raw or burnt), you could get score or a rating or something but started to run out of motivation at the end of the first week of the jam. Having it multiplayer would be nice, but I am still learning on how to implement it. I will definitely check out your game!

I like the idea but I don't understand why I was constantly rotating

Developer

Yeah, I believe it is a build issue with unity engine, I still do not know how to fix it as I am quite new to publishing games. my apologies.
